I am not a botanist or have any special knowledge about flowers; I just like em :]

The blurbs included have an embedded link to their source in the first couple words. I don’t look very hard into sources for reliability, as this blog is more for fun than accuracy. If I post something obviously incorrect, just lmk and I’ll see if I can fix it.

Getting acquainted! /Ethereal Ball ❀

It’s been a while since Sakura have participated in such a great and marvellous event like this, none to mention the fact she wasn’t actually the type of person who was fond of elegant and refined events –but this time was different. The Ethereal ball was a very well-known event in Fòdlan and despite she still wasn’t used to the timeline of each event, this one in particular got her quite prepared for the best: since she transferred at Garreg Mach Monastery, she decided to bring some unique and quite important dresses from her homeland and one of them was a white shining dress that her mother used to wear during special occasion, especially when being among the crowd of her people. She treasured it for a long time and she thought that was the perfect occasion to put it on and greet old and new people living at the monastery, possibly making new friends and strengthen the bond between the older acquaintances.

Robbie The Zombie Flower List

Don’t know if you wanted Robbie but here you go!

Buddleia - Also known as the Butterfly Bush. They represent rebirth, resurrection and new beginnings. Resurrection is kind of a zombie thing. I’m also a firm believer that Robbie is a soft boy. He loves butterflies.

Jacaranda - Excellent flowers for shades. I also think Robbie likes the shade. Represents wisdom, rebirth, wealth and good luck.

Crocus - I really like purple flowers with Robbie. Symbolises youth, rebirth, cheerfulness, pleasure, gladness and joy.

Ipomoea - Also known as the morning glory seems like such a good flower for Robbie. Represents death. Something Robbie kind of defied but he has lots of love to share. They are used for lots of health benefits. I also think that Robbie helps Henrik.

Foxgloves - Toxic if consumed but Robbie would definitely eat one. Henrik would freak out but poison doesn't hurt him.

Wisteria - Hanging flower that can grow up to 65 feet. I love the image of Robbie sitting under a willow tree but these are so much better.

Day 1 (Fox and Aster) - Complete!

I’m.. actually kinda impressed with myself. I worked from reference for this, but still managed to make it fairly loose. At least, I’d say so. Let’s see where I am at the end of the month.

Jameson Jackson Flower List

JJ is my favourite so I saved him for last.

Phlox - Flower popular mostly in the 1920s. Again I love the idea that JJ has his own little flower garden.

Hollyhocks - This sounds like a slang term from the 20’s. Also it was popular in the 20’s. They look like his vest.

Columbine - Again a flower popular in the 20s. JJ would drag his friends out to see whatever creature has come to see his flowers. Usually it's a ladybug.

Delphinium - Popular in the 20’s. JJ loves his flowers and will smack people if they take them without his permission.

Canterbury bells - Popular in the 20s. JJ has an entire wall in the garden covered in these.

Bird of Paradise - They represent thoughtfulness, joy, beauty, freedom and immortality. JJ obviously wants freedom.

Periwinkle - symbolises benevolence, nostalgia and purity. Nostalgia is tied to the past where he is obviously from.

Forget Me Not - I feel like this is the perfect flower for JJ. It symbolises hope, remembrance, true and undying love. I think JJ is afraid of people forgetting him.

Can I request a flower list for Wilford?

Asphodel - They mean “I’m Sorry”.

Yellow roses - The universal flower for friendship. Something he lost.

Azalea - Represents femininity. Bright pink flowers I thought would be perfect for him.

Carnation - Represents gratitude and being unforgettable. We all know Wilford is pretty unforgettable.

Petunia - Symbolises longing or anger. Longing for the past and anger at it as well.

Rocktrumpet - Represents whimsy. Also, the name is so amazing. I love flowers names like this.

Zinnia - Represents friendship and longevity. Eye-popping flowers. Friendship is a huge thing with Wilford. The line old friend is repeated a lot.

Hyacinth - Represents playfulness. Bulbs are poisons and should be handled with gloves.
