A whiff of nature
On Tuesday I joined volunteer Janette Jess on a MeadoWatch survey. MeadoWatch is one of the Citizen Science programs at Mount Rainier, run through the University of Washington. The surveys track the presence of wildflowers in different stages along certain trails in the park. Over many years, this data can be looked at to see if the flowers are adapting to the steadily changing climate. Thank you to Janette and all the volunteers who did surveys for Citizen Science at Mount Rainier this year!
