Sheila let out a sigh through her nose as she walked through the forest, she had just turned into her chimera form since she hasn’t done it in a while plus animals seemed to be more at ease with her like this.
The large blind chimera’s footsteps were very quiet despite her size as she walked, her useless pale blue eyes shielded behind her bright green mane. It was peaceful here but something seemed off, the birds were chirping about something. Thanks to what she had gone through Sheila could translate a few things from the chirps, mentions of a ‘human child’ were what caught her interest the most.
She has never really had much experience with kids, at least not human ones, so this was something she would have to be wary off since from what she has over heard in her travels, even human parents could be just as protective as a mother bear.
With a quick sniff of the air her strong nose picked up the faint scent of something sweet being carried by the wind, it was the faint scent of vanilla which wasn’t found normally in nature so she knew it must have been the child.
Honestly she was a bit nervous about looking for the kid but a child shouldn’t be out in the woods, she might be afraid of meeting new strangers but her kind heart would break if something had happened to the possibly lost child that could have been stopped.
Without another thought the large blind chimera started to quietly follow the scent, her head lowered so she didn’t hit her head on any branches she passed.
