*sigh* Daily dose of Sam Headcanons! The Odyssey and my continued adoration for Greek Mythology and the story of Odysseus and Penelope. Giving me so so so much inspiration for Sam because not just because of their great love story being quite a similarity on Sam’s devotion to the person he is committed to. Not only that, but his general drive for being a provider, BEING SELFLESS but so messily about it, not realising that sometimes it can be swindled to try so hard. The ‘chariot’ pinned he has and the description truly being his representation just so perfectly aligns with that thank u beloved @puncia bc you clocked that mentality of his before even I did just in the way I wrote him and it’s just so ugh. I LOVE MY OCS SO BAD. It’s truly him acting with his heart completely off his sleeves because he acts with his heart always first before mind, and reaping the sorrows after especially knowing that he’s done some things that is made from bad and reckless decisions which then curses the universe is against him or throws him just completely life knocking and the way he gets back up everytime knowing that his purpose is to be someone’s is like, deeply rooted in his core being. the similarities of which that they have been dealt with shitty cards for YEARS only to be challenged, abused by the universe (the ‘gods’) by fate mocking their existence and testing the resilience of their humanity both internally and externally and harnessing strength from believing that their purpose lies in being someone’s home.

I had zero intention in watching 'the five star weekend' despite my love of gemma chan and d'arcy carden (plus the deep affection i have for chloe sevigny born of watching if these walls could talk 2 as a babydyke) but then i saw the post that was like some gay ass director saw aloto and got d'arcy and roberta to make out in a new show.....wait JMO?!?!?!

and yea no honestly 100% worth it, brooke and sunny are so presh

Good thing I abandoned my outrage and reactivated my itch books as it seems most other places are either overwhelmed by the slop or reliant entirely on reviews for books to be seen...which makes it difficult...to get reviews.
