企画展　花器のある風景

花器は主役であり脇役である。

私の勝手なイメージだ。できれば花が生けられている状態が望ましいし、生け方がまずい（下手）のならば、せめて花器だけは…と奮発する方も実際いる。 それでも過去に観てきた陶器系の展覧会でも、花器はそう多くはなかった気がする。花器という呼称もいけばなっぽい。通常はわかりやすく「花瓶」などと称する。

華道家・大郷理明氏のご寄贈の多さもあり、陶器よりは銅器の方が多い企画展だった。私自身いけばなをやっているが、銅器を使用するこたがあまりなく、たっぷりと拝見できたのは嬉しい誤算。お写真で氏の生けられた花が入った状態も拝見した。できれば生花で観てみたい。数日しかもたないので、現実的ではないが…。 いずれにしても、花器に特化した企画展は非常に珍しい。華道家の皆様は是非足を運んでいただきたいなと思った。 ちなみに私の気に入った花器は「気吹蛤薄端」という19世紀のコレクションのひとつ。大きな蛤が気泡を一吹き。その気泡の上が花瓶になっている。ポストカード等は残念ながらありませんでした。
