From Thursday 16th April, the shop will begin trading again, however, in accordance with government guidelines, at this present time, we will only be dealing with funeral tribute orders (knowing that some funerals have had to take place without flowers has been the hardest part of having to close. It breaks my heart to see a cortege pass by with no flowers). These orders can only be delivered to local funeral directors - we will not be able to deliver to home addresses, or the crematoriums. Please be aware our wholesalers are operating a reduced service which could result in us not being able to obtain the exact flower/colour you may require; we will (as always) do our very best to be as accommodating as we possibly can.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣Operating a full delivery service at this time would place an increased risk to not only ourselves, but our customers (your loved ones) also, as well as placing additional traffic on the roads, which in turn can have a detrimental effect on our emergency services. The government are asking us to #StayHomeSaveLives and as members of the local (national and worldwide) community we have a responsibility to do all we can to ensure our amazing #NHS, care workers and all essential staff are kept as safe as possible. ⁣⁣⁣ We are sorry this means we will not be able to fulfill orders for birthdays/anniversaries or a "just because", however, the more people/businesses who can help ease the pressure, the better/safer it will be for us all in the long run. We will continue to operate this reduced service until such times as we are no longer classed as non-essential and the lock down ends.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣Due to current laws and regulations we are not allowed to open up the shop for customers to visit. Genuinely saddened to discover today that the shop where I learned all I know has ceased trading. I cannot reiterate enough how important it is for people to use their local shops. That's the 2nd in 2 months; both of which were wonderful shops run by great people that had been trading for many, many decades; they were integral parts of their local community and offered services that were second-to-none. Once these small shops go they are gone forever thus meaning the consumers choices grow ever smaller.
