Last November for Nevis's third hatchday I took him back to see the place where I bought him. I remember I went in to to look at all the Cockatiel's, but Nevis was the only one that turned and started checking me out so I knew right away that was the one I wanted.

And yeah, that pub at the end I must be honest was not as exciting as the name suggested.

With Valentines Day just eleven days away, here's a gentle reminder that when it comes to flowers - roses especially - you get what you pay for. Yes, a florist (always choose local) will be more expensive, however, the rose in this photo has been in the shop since Jan 15th.
