Oh yeah, I definitely know it’s cheap quality-wise. But I used ikea in this instance because I did the whole “build-your-own” desk where I can pick what size top I want and with what legs (and I didn’t just go with normal legs). Otherwise I’m stuck with whatever premade desk I can find somewhere else that may not fit my needs size-wise or such. I’d love to make my own desk from raw materials, but I don’t really know anyone personally that can help me with woodworking and I don’t really even have the time to invest in planning and building. I might try to do something like that later on, but DIY projects can get pretty pricy too if you don’t already have a bunch of scraps laying around or know exactly what you need.

D'aw, I LOVE IT! Where’d you get it? It’s from a Jiu Jitsu uniform company called “Inverted Gear”, that makes lots of stuff with pandas on their stuff. I saw it on a site that has daily deals (bjjhq.com), and snagged it a few days back. Glad you like it!
