I'd die for you...(Closed Event post)
Much time had passed since Miroku and Sango had been in any form of immediate peril like this. Since he was a terrible fiancee and his mun is terrible too , Miroku hadn't really checked on Sango lately. It was a surprise that she hadn't hunted him down and honestly, she had every reason to. For some reason though, he'd been summoned back to their world for a bit. Or was that a dream? Whatever the case, it felt like he hadn't been here. As he awoke, he found a chest with various contents and a collar on his neck. The phrase 'Kill or be killed' remained in his mind with every step closer he took to searching for his busty lover. But, would she be prepared to kill him to survive, or would he have to trick her into killing him? He deserved it, after all. He deserved anything he'd receive for leaving her, whether it was intentional or not.
Hastily, Miroku took all the contents of the chest before departing for his dearly beloved. Even if there was a possibility that she was with another man, it did not matter. He was still determined to die and allow Sango to live. Even if he could drop the knife in her hands and force both the hand and the knife into his heart for her, then that is what he would do. When he proposed to her after all, he really did intend to keep her safe and sound. Sighing, he clutched the knife in his sleeve. Miroku was more than prepared for what he was about to do next, but he needed to find her first. With a deep breath, he called the lovely demon slayer's name. "Sango? Where are you, Sango?" Yes, today he was going to prove the very thing that he had tried to over the years. The thing that InuYasha would deny in front of them time and time again.
He would prove today that Sango was the only woman in his life that mattered. Even in his death, he would pray that she would understand the truth and live on with a better man than he.
