Continued #wip of Beehive Bouquet. In this group of photos you’ll see how much work went into every detail. I gilded the bumblebee, added a black stripe, opal, and a fire sapphire. I took black sage and filled the pods with tiny brass screws. I decorated calistamos branches with jewels and glass bulbs. I found dead on my porch but they were faded by the sun so I gilded them and and darkened their stripes with black ink. Then I added the bees to the black sage. I’ll show you what I did with the bumblebee in the next post.
