Language Skills
If one thing rubs me the wrong way its braggers and one-uppers. I had to put up with someone who was showing off the different dialects they could speak. After ten minutes I had enough and shared with Miss "I know every language in the world" that I was versed in the most important lingo on this planet. She smirked and half laughing said: "What's is that English?" I told her it's the language of flowers. Yes, the worlds universal language. Flowerspeak is a powerful communication method. Think about it. The Lily symbolizes beauty. If you want to convey love you give the Red Rose. If you think someone is an idiot and needs to get a clue you gift them with Pussy Willows. The Pussy Willow means "Wake Up". I knew that because I speak the language of flowers. I wanted to name my one daughter Daisy, which means Innocense and purity. (No one ever gives me daisies.) My wife shot down the daisy name idea. Every type of flower has a message. Our little Miss Know it all asked me how I knew this? I explained how I'm married and from experience, I've learned when words and groveling won't work, flowers can work miracles. The language of flowers has gotten me through things I did OR things I forgot to do. A forgotten Anniversary. Flowers delivered to her work can build a bridge out of the doghouse. I know it's hard to believe but I goof up sometimes and I've endured stretches of silence from my wife. Flowers have helped get the conversation restarted. The language of flowers is more in my budget. It's easier to be friends with a Florist than a Jeweler or a Furrier. I know it's said a picture is worth a thousand words. From my experience as a flower whisperer. The right flowers are worth 2000 words.
