Oh man. I finally got back on Splatoon for a few games and I didn’t feel like I wanted to throw the controller across the room. lmao. Huzzah. There was a game where half my team was squid partying, though, and I was still in game mode so I kinda got frustrated when we lost...lmao.

I only seem to play spappoon during splatfests anymore. I played 3 hours straight to get to Queen status before work. By the 2nd hour I was cursing constantly and wanting to quit, with only the motivation to move forward because Queen was so close... I don’t think I’ll play for another month, lmao.

It’s time for Splatfest. What team are you on?

I’m on Team Blue! Go Blastoise (Bulbasaur)! 

So far we’ve had a really good turn out, but some people seem to be having some issue with connection. Hope it all works out. :3

I just beat Splatoon 1st player mode. And I cried. Spoilers under the cut.

I loved how as the levels got higher, you wound up in online levels. What really got me, though, was the final boss. I thought it was done really well, the battle was fun and somewhat challenging. As soon as the squid sister song came on, though, I lost it, lmao. IDK it just really touched me, and beating the game got me, too. It gave me more feel for the game and the sisters, and for Cap’n, too. 

Anyway I highly recommend beating 1st player mode.

So I had no idea that a squad was available with only one other person, up to 4 people... I thought I had to have 3 other friends to make a squad and that it was, like, a permanent thing and you could have so many of them?? 

Haha, good thing I was wrong. Squad battles are REALLY FUN. I was like an inkling assassin in Mahi Mahi with my buddy Ace. Woot woot.
