So the anti-Levi/Eren fandom has this huge problem about the age gap. Which in terms of comparing it to reality is understandable.
Right.
Some members of the pro-levi/eren fandom would try to justify it as okay when they age up the characters in fanfics and art.
anti-pairing fandom of said duo states, it's still not okay because the age gap still exists.
... right.
So my question is, if the age gap's general idea is wrong, would that mean any teenager lusting over Levi would technically also be wrong because of the age gap?
Would every older individual who likes Eren and claim him as their "husbando" be considered a pedophile as well?
I mean, the argument is that a relationship between two persons with an age gap is morally wrong.
But it's fictional vs real people.
Right! BUT! The argument also states that it's not okay for you to like the levi/eren pairing even though they're fictional people, because the //idea// alone makes it morally wrong.
So wouldn't that also make it morally wrong for you to admire/lust/claim as your husband a character who is much older than you when you are below the age of majority, or a character much younger than you when you're above the age of majority... because the idea alone makes it morally wrong (aside physically impossible)?
