Have you ever wanted to get movie-quality shots but don’t want to pay the high price of a some other video stabilizers on the market? You won’t have to with the FlowMotion One smartphone stabilizer and you can get it now via their Kickstarter, starting from $169 USD.
Chances are that you haven’t heard of FlowMotion, they’re a technology company based out of Trondheim, Norway, and was started last year and their main goal is to produce video stabilizing products combined with software and hardware solution. The FlowMotion One is their first product.
The actual stabilizer is about the size of a Coke can and works instantly right out of the box. You can easily slide in your Android phone or iPhone in the gimbal or you can easily mount a GoPro or other camera mounts to it.
“You know that annoying feeling when you think you’ve recorded a great shot, but it turns out to be too shaky? We solve that problem,” FlowMotion co-founder Lars Flesland said.
“FlowMotion ONE makes the special moments in your life smooth and easy to watch. Ranging from your toddler’s first steps to seeing a tiger on a safari trip or finally nailing a new snowboard trick. Our mission is to make professional videography accessible to everyone. And to put an end to shaky videos.”
In addition to the stabilizer, there will also be the FlowMotion One app that uses auto-follow technology that allows users to choose a target on your phone screen (whether it’s a person or object) and the One will keep them in focus no matter the speed or terrain.
In the box, you’ll get the FlowMotion One stabilizer and an ergonomic handle with a joystick, USB Type-C cable, one battery, one travel case and a tripod mount. The battery on the FlowMotion One lasts up to 3 hours on a single charge.
