Review: Caterpy Laces Seriously, I don't have to tie my laces again? Awesome! Sign me up! It takes the same amount of time to lace these in to your shoes as it would any other normal shoe lace. I've had these in my work shoes and a pair of my running shoes for a while now and I'm never going back to any other shoe lace. The laces are elastic so as my foot swells throughout the day, the laces expand without tightening, pinching or cutting off blood flow to my feet. My feet didn't slip. I never felt like my foot was going to come out of the shoe but I also never felt like the shoe was too tight. If you do need to adjust them it's easier and quicker to tighten or loosen them than traditional shoelaces. When you pull on the shoelace, the round bobbles flatten making them easy to put in your shoes and adjust if needed. If you have extra lace, just cut it off. They won't fray. They also come in a big selection of colors to match your shoes. They really do feel great walking around and running in them. The fact that I don't need to tie them, is just an added bonus.
