01.01.18 - flu day at home (again) (day 6)
[D-88~D-83] 2016.03.23-03.28 Wendesday to Monday THE FLU
Worked for my JOB (seriously, is there any trustworthy agency left out there in Europe? I really need a new one) and got really sick. DH was coughing a bit, and apparently he brought home the flu from his office coworkers (6 got sick in a row), since I didn’t really do any outdoor activities. We kind of got sick with the flu on two following days, full on with fever and sore throat, shivering, for three days, still coughing and my face feels swollen. Chicken soup and a lot of sleep helped, but this practically was all we did during the Easter Holidays.
Used the last two days sorting out clothes (KonMari, digg it!), fells so much better.
The dude who edited my article for a publication did something with the file, so now all my footnotes don’t align and don’t count in the right way. He asked me to check again, but I did, and aparently he messed it up. A doctoral degree doesn’t give you MS Word skills, I guess.
I feel I am really getting frustrated here. I wished I had more positive news. My voice is much needed in a few days. I still have to finish my chapter and hand in
I stayed in bed all day, sniffing the afternoon away.
