fracturedhaloburntwings asked: I know you have tons of requests, but I feel like absolute shit today about college things so if you could just eventually write a fluffy thingy about Cas comforting you about school stuff and being all awkward but somehow managing to convey you're important and he loves you anyways I'd smile thank you. Hi! So I don't know much about college because I don't go to it myself. But I think I did okay. I hope it makes you feel a little bit better about school and stuff, and if you ever want to talk I'm here! :-)
You yawn and wipe the tired tears threatening to slip out of your eyes at any second, school was hard, - especially when you had to stay up late to study and then wake up early for a class. You wrote down some notes as the teacher spoke, his voice droning out making it hard for you to pay attention to him. Couldn't he speak louder, or at least sound a little bit more interested in what he was saying? You sighed and dropped your head on the desk, before someone cleared their throat beside you. When you looked up you saw Cas sitting there in the seat that used to be empty. Your eyes widened and you looked around to make sure nobody noticed his sudden arrival. "What are you doing?" You whispered.
"I could sense you were unhappy. I'm here to take you back home." He simply said.
You smiled softly and leaned over to kiss his cheek, "I appreciate it, but I can't." You told him.
He furrowed his eyebrows and looked at you curiously, "I need to finish up here, I'll see you when I'm done." He sighed and pecked your lips before disappearing. You giggled at that, the way he sighed like he was annoyed he couldn't spend any more time with you.
"Is something funny, miss Y/L/N?" The teacher called out. Apparently you were giggling louder than you though, you blushed and shook your head and he continued on with the class. This was going to be a long day, but at least you had the thought of going home to Cas later, lingering in your mind.

Or not.
Your groaned out loud, making everyone look at you but you didn't really care right now. You were in your last class, and it was just about to end when your teacher announced that there would be a test tomorrow, and that you should study for it.
Of-freaking-course.
You were excited to have a relaxing night with Cas, and now you had to stress about this. You sometimes weren't sure why you even did this, like maybe you could just drop out. But you knew you couldn't, it just wasn't an option.
After class you went back to your apartment, you were staying at the bunker but you quickly realized that you couldn't get any studying done when the boys were talking about hunts that you wanted to join them on. It was hard staying away from it when it was all around you. When you stepped into the apartment you smelled something burning, you ran into the kitchen to see Cas standing there over the oven. "What are you doing?" You asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I was trying to make you some food, but I burnt it." He looked smug and you giggled, when you looked down at the stove you realized he was making your favourite food.
"Well, it's the thought that counts." You told him with a smile. "I wouldn't of had time to eat it anyways," you sighed and walked into your room, dropping your bag onto the bed before taking your books out. You opened the page to the first one you needed to read.
"What do you mean? He asked.
"I have another test tomorrow, so I have to study." You said before taking the book over to your desk, you began reading it before he came behind you and started rubbing your shoulders. The next thing you felt was his lips on your neck. "You can study later, or just skip the test." He suggested.
"I can't," you were frustrated. You so badly wanted to spend time with him, but you needed to do this. You needed to do something for you, you just didn't know what you were getting out of it other than stress. An uninvited tear slipped down your cheek and within seconds the chair was being turned around and he was standing infront of you.
"I don't like it when you're sad." He said genuinely, you could tell that he meant it. He told you once that he could feel all of your emotions sometimes as strongly as you could because of how close you both were, - Like you had a deep connection that let him feel what you were feeling. You looked at him with sad eyes and he hesitantly brought his hand up to your cheek to wipe away the stray tears, "I just don't know why I'm doing this anymore," you admitted.
"Do you remember in the beginning? How you were excited about starting?" He asked, and you nodded. "When you feel like this, you should remember why you were excited. The reason why you wanted this to begin with." You looked at the ground in thought, and suddenly you were being picked up from the chair and brought over to the bed. He put you down and then laid his head onto the pillow before pulling you up onto his chest. Ever since he learned that you liked to cuddle, he started initiating it by himself. You breathed in, the scent of Cas taking over. It made you feel relaxed almost immediately. When you looked up at him he was looking down at you, his blue eyes almost sparkling. "And remember that I love you," he added to what he was saying before.
You smiled and another tear rolled down your cheek, which he also wiped away with his thumb. "I love you, too."
"I know." He said casually.
You laughed and put your arm around his waist, bringing him in tighter. How did you get so lucky with him? You didn't get it. You scooted up his body more so that you could kiss his lips, he kissed back and when he pulled away you dropped your head onto his chest again. From not getting enough rest the night before you felt a sudden urge to sleep take over you. You yawned and closed your eyes. "Tired?" He asked.
"Mhm," you hummed into his chest.
He put his hand on your head, running his fingers through your hair. Another thing he learned that you loved and continued doing. "Go to sleep."
You did as you were told, not being able to help it. The feeling of his warmth under you, along with your lack of sleep made you pass out almost right away.
When you woke up he was still there, running his fingers through your hair. The clock on the side table said 4:30 am. You rubbed your hands over your eyes and looked up at him. "I needed to study," you said, your voice sounding tired.
"Go back to sleep, I could always put the information into your head when you're doing the test."
"That would be cheating." You said, still not getting up though, you couldn't make yourself. He was just so comfy.
"Sleep." He repeated.
You groaned and closed your eyes again, but before you drifted off you heard him say, "I love you, Y/N."
"I love you too," you mumbled, cuddling into his chest more before you fell into a slumber. The test would have to wait.
