“Do you and Hisoka have a relationship I don't know about?”

Illumi pauses at the sound of your voice. You were angry but why? It was late. He was gone all day and had only just arrived to see you brushing your hair clearly in a bad mood. “Not at all. He is mearly a good co-worker. His skills make the jobs easier that's all.” Illumi responded casually, removing his pins from his face. “Why?”

“Well since you spend more time with him than you do with me I must wonder if I’m a mistress and he's the one with the ring.” you accused bitterly.

Ah. So that was the issue. You were feeling lonely. Illumi didn't panic. He had read that wives often felt lonely if their partner worked all day and as a result can lead to excessive drinking, spending money, temper tantrums, and cheating. Which will inevitably end the relationship. Illumi didn't think he would have this issue with you as you knew his occupation and work schedule before the two of you married. That clearly wasn't the case.

Under normal circumstances, Illumi wouldn't know how to appease your anger. He might even make it worse. But thankfully that article he read in one of your newspapers also offered solutions.

The first step was to understand why you were upset. That was already completed. Next was to show you understand.

Illumi felt tense as he moved closer to you. He wasn't used to this kind of thing. Part of him really wanted to ignore you and tell you you're overreacting. But doing so will hurt you. He learned that lesson once before and has since tried his best not to repeat it.

“I understand,” Illumi stated plainly. You raised an eyebrow. “Understand what?” “I understand that you feel lonely and insecure but I assure you I would never cheat.”

You blinked twice. Did he just call you insecure? Over that stupid clown?

“If we're done I'm going to take a shower.” you just nodded at him dumbfounded. That was not how you intended things to go. You had hoped after expressing your displeasure about his abstinences he would offer to spend more time with you. Like taking you out on a date tomorrow or even making love tonight.

You let out a sigh and tucked yourself into the bed. Maybe if you seduce him you’ll get better results.

Meanwhile, Illumi was satisfied he ended things without even needing the other steps. Perhaps he was better at comforting than he thought.

i could have sworn ive done something like this!! omg i havent written in a good minute so i might be rusty lollll. but yes ask and you may receive, lovely

- killua can definitely start off the relationship feeling a little awkward. These experiences are new to him, and he doesn't really know how to navigate being in a relationship. but just because it might take him a bit to get more comfortable, this doesn’t deny how much he really likes you. 

- you and killua's relationship is mainly built off the new experiences you build together. You guys love trying out new things, exploring different places and cities, and will practically do anything as long as it's together.

- killua is gets a little shy with physical affection and PDA, both receiving and giving. expect him to be a blushing mess when you sneak up behing him and give him a bunch of random hugs and kisses (he litterally turns red like a tomato)!! 

- but OMG when you guys are alone his favorite thing to do is cuddle. killua literally becomes like a cat snuggling next to you. you guys dont even have to be talking either, all that matters is that you’re both in each other’s presence.

- you’re probably gonna be the only person he’ll share his chocorobots with!! the only thing is that he’ll probs just give you small pieces... (at least its something right??).

- killua will always look his best for your dates. yes he likes to dress, but especially when he’s doing something with you!

- i feel like killua loooooves when you scratch his head lollll. he can practically fall asleep when you’re doing it, especifally if his head is laying on your lap. one minute you guys can be talking, and the next?? killua’s already asleep. 

- if you don’t know how to already, killua will try to teach you how to ride a skateboard. he might (definitely will*) tease you if you accidentally stumble a little, but nonetheless he means it with love <33

- if you DO know how to ride a skateboard, then you and him love to go skating around the town, especially in the evening when the sun is starting to set :)) consider it like a little date between the two of you <33

Illumi likes to watch you sleep

He doesn't mean to come off as weird or creepy. (even tho it is) he just wants to make sure you are safe.

Growing up as an assassin has led Illumi to always be on guard. Even at night when he sleeps Illumi can hear any sounds and sense movement in the house, such as your breathing when you sleep in the living room or how many times you toss and turn. He knows it all.

So whenever you fall asleep, Illumi likes to watch over you as you are quite vulnerable when sleeping. It’d be so easy for anyone to take you away or do the unspeakable. It also serves as a stress reliever to see your beautiful, peaceful expression knowing that he isn't alone to bare all the hardships.

As your partner, Illumi knows it's his responsibility to look out for you and keep you safe. Although when you wake up in the morning to see his dark eyes staring into your soul gratefulness is not the first thing that comes to mind.

If you tell him to stop he’ll get upset thinking he was doing good. But Illumi would despite your wishes continue to watch you as you sleep and just close his eyes or face the other way when you wake up so you won't know.

I also like to believe that Illumi sometimes talks to you as you sleep. He uses this to say what he truly thinks or come up with ways to give you compliments.

hiii. Could I request some headcanons for Hisoka? Sfw/fluff. The reader is a child (killua and gon's age, and travels with them) and somehow got attached to him. Even though gon and killua find him super creepy and don't trust him, y/n doesn't find him off-putting at all and wants to hang out with him. Like at heavens arena, instead of being disgusted at his little show he put on, she was amazed he could do such things. Reader doesn't have a dad so he kind of takes that role in her eyes. She thinks he's really cool and follows him around when he's in the area. Reader is also training as an assassin (not quite as good as killua though) so she doesn't find his desire for killing scary. I just want some cute hc's between hisoka and his little admirer :)) it's okay if you don't feel comfortable writing this though. Thank you anyway!

“Are you a magician?”

Hisoka looked down in the direction from which the small voice came. It was a child who couldn't be more than thirteen years old. The same child who was staring at him for the last 2 hours.

Their eyes were wide and sparkled with anticipation.

“Not exactly, but I suppose I can do a bit of magic~” Hisoka smiled seeing your expression light up.

“Can you do a trick?!” You were bouncing up and down excitedly. You truly were a kid. Hisoka wondered how someone like you wound up taking the ex-

Someone bumped into Hisoka’s shoulder and kept moving. Interrupting his train of thought.

“Child you wanted to see a trick yes? As you wish~”

Within a few moments, the man who bumped into Hisoka, arms evaporated into flower petals. Immediately everyone backed away leaving just you Hisoka and the rude man on the floor.

Hisoka observed the look of fear and hatred on everyone’s face. Surely by now, even the child would stare at me the same way.

But he was wrong.

“That's so cool!” You were even more happy than before. Hisoka stared at you in disbelief but that look quickly turned to amusement. You were going to be a fun new toy for him to play with.

“I wanna do that too!” you whined tugging on his arm.

Hisoka bent down till he was able to make eye contact with you.

“You seem like a good kid. What's your name?”

“Y/n.”

“Y/n huh. You can call me Hisoka. A pleasure to make your acquaintance.”
