FOLLOW UP ON THE VOLKIMURA FLUFF-

The nightmares are relentless. Distorted images of her friends- Ruby, Liam, Chubs, Vida, Priyanka, Lana, Max- Roman.

All of them. Scattered in the snow. Blood pooling around their limp bodies. She falls to her knees, shots ringing out around her as she shakes them, begging, screaming at them to get up. And snow is falling harder, the sky opening up and just collapsing.

And she can't see, she can't breathe, she's drowning in everything and nothing all at once and-

Roman is jolted awake to the sound of sobbing. Zu. She's tangled in the sheets, gasping for breath as tears run down her face and she's thrashing around like shes in pain.

His heart lurches and he's there in an instant, shaking her awake, calling her name until her beautiful eyes open, filled with tears.

"I'm here, Zu! I'm here!" He says again and again as she clings to him, gasping. Struggling to shake off the remnants of the dream, as her small hands fist in his t-shirt. His heart breaks as he glances down at her, just holding her, telling her that he's here. That she's not really there.

He kisses her forehead, wiping the tears from her face and smoothing back her hair until she's blinking up at him, her sobs dying down.

"I'm here." he says again. And even though she doesn't say what it was about, he reassures her anyways. That's the thing. They never spoke about it, but he was alwayd there to pull her from the darkness, the fear.

And as she rested her head on his chest, letting his steady heartbeat lull her to sleep, she knew that he was the person she loved more than anything.

And as he listened to her gentle breathing and held her close, he knew that he'd never love anyone or anything as much as the small girl in his arms.

Today was my day off and boy was it needed. I love my job and I fought hard to get my spot as Japan's 13th top hero sure I had a few people from my former class like Midoriya, Bakugou and Todoroki were able to break into the top 10 heck even top 5 but I'm content where I stand. I look at the clock it's only 12pm.

"I've already did laundry and cleaned the house.." I grab the phone and send a quick text to Shouta. 'I'm going to go grocery shopping anything you'd like?' I paused before adding 'What would you like for dinner?' before sending it and grabbing my wallet and slipping my shoes on.

It was pretty sunny today but not overbearingly hot. My phone rang and I saw a small list coffee being the first before a request for anything Italian okay then I think I know what I'd do. I grab a cart going around buying essentials and Shouta's requests.

It's been three years since I accepted being Shouta's at the half a year mark he asked to be my boyfriend. I smile remembering how that.

We were snuggling on a chilly November night a bowl of popcorn some drinks and snacks watching a movie around halfway through we watched as one of the main characters decided he loved his high school sweetheart and didn't want to loose her so he made a cute proposal.

"Hey kitten" I look at him silently urging him to continue "You know I was thinking it's been 6 months and I'd really like to be more than just your Dom" my eyes widen sitting up straighter "You mean?" He turned to me completely serious "I want to be your boyfriend (y/n). You don't have to answer now just know I want to pursue more with you than just-" "Yes!" I throw my arms around him he grunts in surprise but ultimately smiles "Good that makes me happy."

I decided to make spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread a classic while I busy myself with cooking and blasting music I didn't hear the door open and with steps nearly silent I jump slightly feeling strong arms wrap around my waist.

"That smells amazing kitten" "I'm glad you think so" I turn my head a bit to give him a kiss. "I brought someone I hope you don't mind" he said letting me go and turning to the kitchen entrance and low and behold stood Eri a girl who Eraserhead and a couple of my classmates rescued during my first year in UA. She's was 7 when we met and now 15 years old wow around ten year passed now that I think about it.

I look to him surprised "..You brought Eri-chan?" I knew her in high school when Shouta decided to take her in but we only met a few times in the three and a half years I've been with Shouta.

The first time we got together, an outing to get to know each other better, Eri birthday when I made her a custom apple flavor cake, Shouta's birthday, and a sleepovers when Shouta has a dangerous mission and she had to stay over, not going to lie even though shes younger than me we had a lot of fun. But she usually stayed with Shouta's close friends Mic or Midnight so I knew something was up.

"Hi (y/n)-san!!" She smiled and skipped over after a few years of being saved she finally started to smile and be more expressive like she deserved. "Hi Eri-chan I'm making Spaghetti and meatballs I hope that's alright" I send a smile her way.

"Ooo yes please!" I couldn't help but glance at Shouta and he has a smile as he watched us from his position in a chair by the table. "Can we have apple pie?" She asked "Only if you help me make it" I winked at her playfully.

"Ugh okay moooom" she played along skipping to grab my extra apron and quickly grabbed the ingredients dancing and singing along Eri and I were able to whip up a quick but definitely going to be yummy apple pie. While that was baking they sat at the table and I served them.

Dinner was spent happily talking, teasing and just enjoying each other's company. After I checked the pie and gave Eri her piece she quickly grabbed a scope of vanilla ice cream on top and skipped to the living room to watch TV while Shouta and I washed dishes.

It was nice to enjoy each other's silence while the music played in the background. After they were out away we joined Eri in the living room and snuggled together.

I couldn't help but notice Eri kept glancing at us but Shouta remained watching the TV unfazed. She threw her paper plate and plastic forks away and sat on my other side. "(Y/n) you really make dad happy thank you" she snuggled close I couldn't help but smile "He's made me really happy too and not just him you too" she looked up to me through her pretty long lashes. "Me?" I nod "Yup even though we didn't spend a lot of time together before and we don't spend much time together now I enjoy the times we have. You've come so far from what you were before and I'm proud of you Eri" Her eyes watered and she clung to me. "Thank you" she mumbles the movie drowned out in the background.

"(y/n) I have something I'd like to ask you." Shouta spoke up a few minuted later both Eri and I turned to him. "We've been together for nearly four years we've had our ups and downs like every couple and how were got together isn't usually how things go especially considering you were one of my students but" he too my hand in his looked into my eyes I could see how much he loves me and it filled me up with such warmth and happiness. "I love you and I-" "A-hem" Eri coughs and he chuckles "Eri and I would like to know would you like to join the Aizawa clan as my wife and Eri's new mother?"

I felt time and my breath stop. This man who taught me, saved my class from villains over and over, who taught me and my class how to be great hero's, who I re-met under different than normal circumstances who stole my heart was asking me to be his bride. I then turn to Eri a sweet girl with a beautiful smile whos hair I played with who stayed over during long missions and baked treats for who wanted me to be her mother? She smiled encouragingly and nods as if reading my mind.

I turn back to Shouta who waits patiently a kind smile.. I feel warm tears fall down my cheeks as I'm flooded with so many emotions love and happiness are the major ones though as I wrap my arms around him my face buried in his chest. "Yes, I'd love to so so much Shouta, that would make me so very happy" tears continue to fall all I could do was hold onto him as I felt a kiss on my head and not one but two set if arms wrap around me. I felt so loved by these two wonderful people.

"I'm so happy! I had a great dad and now I have a great mom!" Eri cheers so happily that I had to turn and pull her into a tight hug. "I try to be the best mother I can be!" 'I know you will (y/n)' Eri thought as she relished in the warmth of a hug from her new soon to be mother figure.

Aizawa couldn't help but capture that moment forever the sight of his two girls was a beautiful picture. "Hey Dad can I have a baby brother or sister in a year or two please pretty please?" Eri says as we separate from our hug cause my face to explode red.

"First we have to get married and maybe we'll consider having another Aizawa" he mumbles getting ready for a nap before he's night shift.

"Your not getting any younger though so chop chop dad!" Eri laughs putting a cover on him. "But he's still so handsome" I send her a wink as I place his favorite pillow under his head and we leave him to sleep.

'Maybe one more Aizawa should be fine but first we have to plan a wedding..that sounds like such a pain' Aizawa thought before smiling he was going to marry the woman of his dreams and have a family and all because Midnight and Present Mic pestered him to go check out a little shop where a little kitten wore a cute collar.

Yorktown

so i got inspired by THIS drawing from @toastybumblebee and decided to make a story of it

It was an early morning in San Francisco, the city was starting to wake up. The sun began to shine over the city, although there was already one man wide awake. James T Kirk was lying in bed reading a book. He was waiting, waiting for his bondmate to come home. Spock had been on Vulcan for the past two weeks to negotiate about a distribution deal between Vulcan and Risa. While Spock had been gone, Jim had missed him greatly. Ever since his katra had been restored the two of them had become inseparable ‘till this negotiation. He could not wait for Spock to come home, this was also the reason he hadn’t slept this night. He didn’t eat last night as well, he was nervous. Nervous that something would happen to the shuttle craft that would bring him home. He never wanted to be parted from spock in such a way ever again.

 The door to their apartment opened and a figure clad in black clothes walked in, he quickly made his way into their bedroom past the abandoned messy living room. He quickly undressed, slid into bed and snaked his arms around his lover. “well good morning to you to dear” Jim chuckled. “I have missed you greatly ashayam” he felt Spock whisper into his ear. Spock nuzzled his nose against Jim’s hair and together they fell asleep, just as the world around them was waking up.

 The holovid ended. It was one of the many memories his counterpart had left him, but this one was the only one in video. Most of them were written down, or were simple pictures of parts of his life that were important to him. Spock was standing still in the dark room overlooking Yorktown, PADD still in his hands. He was still replaying the video in his head, his thoughts were racing. Yet one of them stood out against all “so this was what my counterpart meant with do not waste your time with our James” Spock knew what he had to do, he must talk to Jim.

 It was never dark in Yorktown, it was one of the few things Jim didn’t like about the federation’s new starbase. He was drowning his sorrows in expensive scotch, in some bar which name wouldn’t be important later anyway. Spock was going to leave him, it was the only thought that was on Jim’s mind. In the turbolift on the old Enterprise, that was what Spock wanted to talk with him about. But they had never spoken after the party they had thrown for him, all that he had read in Spock’s file was that the commander had requested his resign to help his race on New-Vulcan. He had felt anger, betrayal. Because Spock had never told him about this, he had never told him anything. Jim knew he was being a hypocrite, after all he was going to leave Starfleet. He never told Spock about that though, only recommended him as his successor.

Jim didn’t notice the bar door opening, he had sunk too deep into his thoughts. A dark figure walked in and took the seat next to him, Jim raised his head to look at the figure and took a sharp breath. “what the hell is Spock doing here?” “Jim I believe we still had to talk about some matters, please come with me” without waiting for Jim’s answer he slid off the barstool and walked out of the bar, Jim quietly followed him. Together they walked towards Yorktown Park, it still looked as if it was only 12am, Even though the real time was 3am. When they were standing on the bridge above the lake, Spock finally began to talk. “Jim, in the past few hours I have made some discoveries about our counterparts. And about ourselves.” Spock turned to look Jim into his eyes “our counterparts were engaged in a romantic relationship.” Jim turned away from the lake to look at him. “they were? “Jim whispered “h-how did you find out? Why are you telling me this?” “I do not know how to tell you this” Spock looked away over the lake “the ambassador passed away a few weeks ago, this was brought to my notice before our mission to Altamid.” “Spock i-í’m so sorry, is this why you wanted to leave the Enterprise? So you could continue his work on New-Vulcan” Spock was taken back by this comment “how did Jim find out?” “Spock, hey Spock” Jim was waving his hand in front of Spock’s face, “earth to Spock are you there??” “I assume you know I am here, I am standing in front of you.  I wish to apologize to you, I wanted to make my intentions clear to you after we had rescued the stranded crew on Altamid. Yet I found myself unable to do so.” Spock moved closer to Jim “I was afraid of what your reaction might be, now I find that I can no longer live without you by my side” Spock lied his hand on Jim’s cheek, Jim was now staring dumbfounded at Spock. It all seemed too good to be true, spock really had feelings for him? “so,” Jim began “you wanna find out how good we fit together?” he said it with a fond smile, Jim took Spock’s hand into his own. “Yes Jim, I would be happy to.” They both knew there was a long road ahead of them. But they were going to face it like they always had, together.
