Grumpy Grump

Muse A has been having restless nights, between intense dreaming and Muse B snoring, Muse A hasn't had a good night's sleep in what feels like a lifetime but is really just a few weeks.

Muse A's mood is not a positive one, Muse A is cranky and snapping at everyone, little things make them annoyed and they are acting like they want to keep the world at a safe distance.

Muse B has noticed and feels bad for their part in Muse A being unable to get a good night's sleep in their shared bed. Muse B then decides to help improve Muse A's mood and pamper them.

Starting with a cooked breakfast through to running a hot bath in the evening and offering a relaxing massage, Muse B does everything in their power to help Muse A and to ensure a good night's sleep. Will it all help?

Plot # 16: Bittersweet Reunion (submitted by viva-la)

muse a and muse b are high school sweethearts who eventually break it off and go separate ways. muse a moves to another town/state/area, meets someone, gets married, and has a kid. but due to unfortunate circumstances, muse a’s spouse passes away. muse a moves back home with their child to try and start over in their hometown and runs into muse b who is still single and working and just trying to live. they reconnect, muse b meets muse a’s child, and starts hanging out with the two of them, slowly easing muse a and muse b back into feelings for each other.

Plot #15: Dirty Laundry 

Muse A and Muse B are college students. Muse A is a freshman who's just getting into the swing of living in a dorm and having to do things independently. Adjusting to having a roommate and getting to classes on time is a snap, but Muse A has never had to do their own laundry before and it's a little bit daunting to visit the campus laundry room alone. Muse A does their best to look confident, however, and loads everything into one machine. Before, they can ruin their clothes, Muse B, an upperclassman, who's entered the cozy laundry room to get their own laundry done, steps forward and offers some guidance, advising Muse A to separate their darks and lights, even offering spare change for extra machines Muse A will need. After a bit of mutual awkwardness, they begin to loosen up. While the machines work on their clothes, the students talk about their majors and their passions in life. They make each other laugh and flirt a little bit. Before the rinse cycle ends, Muse B asks Muse A out.

Plot # 12:  Anywhere But Here (submitted by viva-la)

Muse a is running away from something in their past.Walking along the road because their car broke down, they’re determined to put as much distance between them and what they’re running from as possible. Muse b, driving away from something also, aimlessly wandering or possibly just trying to get to a destination, stops and picks up Muse a. They spend the next few days/weeks/however long getting to know one another, connecting, sharing their lives, crying, laughing, traveling together, doesn’t even have to be a ship, could just be an incredible friendship. and in the end they can part ways forever changed or stick together. however it pans out.

Plot # 7: Lovely Keys

Muse A has just received a generous gift of a baby grand piano from a well-off relative who's passed. Every day Muse A marvels at the gorgeous instrument and runs his/her fingers along the keys wishing he/she could play the thing. After some time, Muse A finally resolves to take piano lessons in honor of their dearly departed. Muse B is giving piano lessons to earn some extra cash. There's an instant physical attraction between Muse A and Muse B, but the relationship stays professional at first. Over the course of several lessons, an honest, sweet affection between the pair grows.

Plot #2: Rain, Rain, Go Away

Muse A is sipping tea by the window, watching the rain come down from the comfort of his/her warm, dry home. He/She peers out toward the quiet street just as Muse B rides his/her bike by the house and runs into a huge pothole. It's a funny sight to behold, the poor soul drenched in muddy water, the front wheel of his/her bike slightly mangled, but ultimately Muse A feels badly for the soaked stranger and decides to intervene. Muse A pulls on a jacket and hurries outside to offer help. It isn't until Muse B looks up in Muse A's direction that the two realize they've met before..
