so uh...here we go again? anyone is free to use this, I know its really short notice but I just made the decision to do this again myself today lol (I also just finished the list like 20 minutes ago, so...). anyways, feel free to participate if you wanna, can be any ship you like, and have fun with it :D

Day 1: Chilly (its October, time to get out the spookies and hot cocoa) Day 2: Ticket (speeding ticket, carnival ticket, the ticket type is up to you) Day 3: Wicked (someone doing a mischief, or just the Halloween vibe) Day 4: Chalk (creativity is key) Day 5: Clammy (its cold out here, time for mittens and prancing in the leaves) Day 6: Aloof (a misunderstanding, a time of unknowing) Day 7: Torpid (cold weather makes sleepy monsters) Day 8: Organic (get all your pumpkins and gourds, colorful and plump) Day 9: Petite (something weak...or not so weak) Day 10: Tough (time to prove your strength) Day 11: Teeny (small and itty bitty) Day 12: Invincible (something strong, or not so strong) Day 13: Opine (that’s just my opinion) Day 14: Sheer (silky smooth, crispy fresh) Day 15: Silent (like an October night, under the stars) Day 16: Doll (spooky, aren’t they) Day 17: Worry (is someone hurt?) flufftober day 8: edgepuff

im so fucking bad at carving pumpkins

“First,” Papyrus said, looking to him with a smile, “you disembowel the pumpkin!”

Fell poked the vegetable in front of him, eyes narrowing at the orange flesh. The utensils they had for the carving- something that many humans did, for some reason, and though he had no idea why he supposed he could see the appeal- were laid out randomly over a towel. A large bowl sat between them on the table, instructions that Papyrus had printed off the internet sitting just to the side.

“I’m not sure why we can’t just get fake ones at the store.”

Papyrus huffed, fingers trailing over the serrated knives, spoons, and smaller blades before grabbing the largest one, bringing it back to his own pumpkin. “It’s tradition!” He lifted up the knife, placing the tip on the top of the vegetable before starting to press down. “This is the month that all humans worship skeletons! It’s the least we can do.”

The pumpkin was, apparently, too strong for the knife, Papyrus standing up so he could add more weight onto the blade. Fell raised a brow, simultaneously worried and curious about how it would end. Papyrus yelped in surprised as the pumpkin gave way under the pressure, the gourd splitting into pieces, shooting across the table and onto the floor. It was quiet for a moment.

Fell burst into laughter, ignoring the annoyed glare of his lover as he brushed the pieces away from his workspace. “We can always get more,” he said, picking up his own knife and sliding it easily into the flesh of his pumpkin, taking the top off.

Despite the annoyance, a hint of a smile tugged at his mouth.

Flufftober day 1 - Rain - Doc/Rook

The rumble of thunder stirred Doc from his nap at his desk, sitting up and rubbing his eyes gently. Rain? It had been quite some time since it rained. He mused with a smile as he stood and tidied his desk so he could leave, setting his clipboard on a hook so it could be easily found the next day. He decided to close his office early, he knew no one would be hurt today, if it was an emergency he was more than capable of handling it. The doctor strode gleefully down the halls and to his shared quarters and opened the door. There sat Rook, quietly reading a book while haphazardly curled up on the couch. The young Frenchman looked over and smiled as soon as he saw Doc, putting his book down and walking over to embrace him warmly.

"Ah, you're early? Though I suppose I can't complain.", Julien laughed softly, pulling away to plant the softest kiss he could on Doc's lips.

"Yes, I decided to close early, besides no one is doing anything anyways, and if it's an emergency I can handle it as always.", Gustave chuckled as he stepped back and took Rook's hand and pulled him along out of the room and to the exit of the building.

"Eh? Gustave? It's raining, we cannot go out there..", Julien looked at him oddly, watching as the doctor ignored him and propped open the door.

It was true that it was raining, but it was a gentle drizzle that wouldn't soak them too bad. Doc stepped out with his arms open, his face to the sky as he let the water caress it where it fell. Rook slowly stepped out after him, watching his lover's face. Doc had the brightest smile, one Rook hadn't seen in such a long time, one that meant he was off in his own world of bliss. He stepped forward and pulled Doc into his arms, still watching him like a child.

"Mon amour, why do you smile like so?",he asked Gustave softly, the smile could be heard in his voice.

"I love the rain, Julien, something about it..Can we stay out just a bit longer? If we get sick I will care for you~", Gustave kissed his cheek softly, whilst giving him puppy-dog eyes.

"Of course we can stay out..How can I say no to you?", he laughed and held him tighter, enjoying the sounds of the rain falling around them, the smell it gave was delightful as well.

He could see why Gustave couldn't explain why he loved it, he just did. He decided that he now loved it too, and that this was how they would spend the rest of their rainy days.

“What do you think about me moving in here?  Then I would always be able to come home to you.”  

Alec’s words caught him off guard.  Not because Magnus didn’t want Alec to move in - far from it - but because he’d been building up to asking him and had a grand plan in place.  Leave it to his beautiful boyfriend to upend all of Magnus’s plans with his blunt, heartfelt manner.

flufftober day 3: honeyketchup

“Hey, Sans, what do you think?”

Sans turned, browbone raised and ready to make a pun about whatever Stretch was talking about when he stopped. There were a few seconds of silence before he snorted, doubling over with laughter. “Wh- Where are your clothes?”

Stretch grinned, posing proudly in the strategically placed cobwebs. “Oh, just readying myself for some Halloween pranks.”

“You aren’t planning on getting yourself in a sticky situation, are you?” Stretch rolled his sockets, not appreciative of his humor whatsoever. No matter. Sans would weave as many puns as it took to make the other laugh at his genius. “Not to body shame or anything, but why are you wearing that?”

The grin that stretched across the other’s face was slightly worrying, even more so as he produced a phone from seemingly nowhere and held it up, showing him a video of someone dressed as a scarecrow grabbing the arm of someone taking more than one candy.

Sans snorted as Stretch wordlessly gestured to the mass of webbing, a proud smirk on his face. “They will rue the day they came for candy from our house.”

Sans sighed, shaking his head. “If you get punched in the face I refuse to take any lectures from your brother. This-” he gestured at the ball of cobwebs- “this is all on you. Literally.”

Stretch stuck out his hand and they shook on it, the sound of a whoopie cushion filling the air. He walked away with his head held high and cobwebs covering his ass. Sans put a reminder in his phone to set a camera up on the front porch. If Stretch was going to get decked, then he was going to make sure he got a video of it. For posterity.

flufftober day 5: BBQhoney

got some uhhhh fukin leaves? yeah?

Slim leaned back with a groan, cracking his spine as he set the rake off to the side, proudly looking at the pile of leaves he’d scraped up. It had taken more effort than he had wanted but it was done, the pile about up to his waist. Picking the sticks out as he raked had been the hardest part, but it would all be worth it in the end.

He looked up as he heard the door open, Stretch walking out of his house, hands slung in the pocket of his hoodie and a beanie pulled over his head. “Wow,” he said. “I can’t believe you actually finished it.”

“You dare to doubt me?” Of course, Slim had very much doubted he would finish it as well.

Stretch only shrugged, walking up to it and nudging the outer edge with his foot. Slim glanced up at the window by the kitchen, wondering if Blue was watching, but deciding that he didn’t really care. He cracked his neck, taking in a slow breath before sprinting towards the other, grabbing him around the waist and tackling him into the pile of leaves, landing with a grunt.

The other cursed, flailing about for a bit before he went limp with a sigh, managing to work one of his arms out long enough to flip him off. “C’mon,” Slim muttered, shifting so he was laying more fully on top of him. “It’s chilly. Let’s cuddle.”

Stretch groaned, but didn’t fight back. “There are probably bugs and shit in here, man.”

“Good for the immune system.” Another grumble, but he quieted when Slim leaned up and placed a kiss on his teeth, quick and gentle. A bright orange flush came across his face at the simple gesture like the hopeless romantic he was, placing his arm around Slim’s back.

It was quiet and peaceful, the warmth of the other seeping through the two layers of clothing, shared breath and soft breathing. It was getting a little too romantic, actually.

“Now we can fuck in the leaves the way that mother nature intended.”

Being shoved out of the pile was almost worth the look on the other’s face.
