Dan had to play some new Ross levels of Ma//rio Mak//er. He's having trouble letting his anger go. Arin and Brian help him calm down.
“FUCK IT. I. AM. DONE,” Dan finally yelled, his rage uncharacteristic.
“What’s the matter, Dan,” Ross mused, grinning ear to ear. “Are you Grump now? Are you-”
“Ross if you so much as breathe on me, I will break your spine in half and use it as a guitar neck,” Dan growled, trudging from the room.
Arin stopped blowing on his freshly painted nails as if his boyfriend instinct kicked in immediately. He knew it was a bad idea to let Dan keep playing after they finished recording, but he’d never seen someone so determined to win before.
“Hey, buddy,” Arin said softly, opening his arms for a hug.
“I just…I can’t,” Dan mumbled, allowing Arin to sweep him up into his arms. “Two hours of playing that bullshit…two fuckin’ hours.”
“I know, babe. I know. C’mon. Bri’ll read you some Cosmos and we’ll get some ice cream, mkay? Sound good?”
Brian, who was settled in a corner with a book, also looked up inquisitively. No one was allowed to make Tol Boyfriend angry but him. He followed Arin into the Grump Room and sat down on the couch, ready to run his fingers through Dan’s hair.
“We can kill Ross later,” Brian soothed, fingers combing through the tangled mess of Dan’s hair. “I’ll hold him and you’ll kick.”
“Mkay,” Dan muttered, hugging his knees as he burrowed between Arin and Brian. “Love you guys.”
“Love you too,” Arin and Brian said in almost perfect unison.
