The point of this assignment was to see who would actually try on something. If you had googled one of the prompts, copied the page, and sent it in as hw, you would have made an O. If you had at least TRIED you would have made an O. Someone sent in a sentence, but that sentence was the best sentence ever written. Like... I don't give you the work to give you busy work, most of the stuff I give, I think people would enjoy thinking about in real life. The class I teach goes beyond this roleplay, because I make you think about deeper meanings of stuff. For you Americans and other people who take APs, SATs, ACTs, and any other exam that will help you get where you want to be, THIS is where it starts to click. On the AP English Lit exam, they don't grade on if you understood the book, they grade on how YOU interpreted it, and if you can argue your point and convince them to believe it. Maybe I'm too hard on you.. Maybe I give out of the box hw, and teach lessons that you probably wouldn't understand without some AP Calculus before hand, or an AP Physics B/C or Chem class.. But in the end, all I want to do is help you be better people when it comes to analysis of life when you leave this roleplay. I won't take off the housepoints, because I'm hoping that these Ts and this letter to you guys will wake you up and atleast make you try a little harder in every class you take on here AND in real life from now on. I love you guys, and I want to see you do well.
