I'm kinda surprised our golden girl hasn't tried to ride on her rings. She could just float around or skate around using her rings like Go Go Tomago from Big Hero 6. Either way I find the thought pretty funny.

you're right about there being a wide application of uses for MC's cursed technique! there's a reason gojo was like 👁👁 when he first heard about it. he has a good eye for potential.

as for zooming around on the rings, i guess there's technically nothing that'd prevent her from doing so?? it'd all depend on the utility this would provide her in a given fight. she has used a ring as a floating chair before GJDKLS

by the time yuta enrolls at jujutsu tech, her abilities are at this state:

assessing the threat and summoning rings accordingly. (one for curses grade 4-2, six for grade 1, and nine for anything above that).

can comfortably maintain six of what she's since labelled 'highest order' rings, aka the state of their maximum potency concerning speed and sharpness. for reference, she could maintain two of these when she was 14, and four once she graduated from jujutsu tech.

if she strains herself, she can maintain nine of these highest order rings. only used for emergency situations, as it rapidly drains her. leaves her vulnerable after the fight's conclusion because she requires days of bedrest to offset her overexertion.

cannot use domain expansions 😔 gojo has tried helping her reach this point, but she just hasn't successfully pulled it off. or come particularly close to doing so.

can create and comfortably sustain up to ninety-nine 'lowest order' rings. these can immediately halt and or execute curses from grade 4-2.

for anything above that grading, she can halt them, at the cost of losing the ability for her or anyone else to inflict damage on the target. how long they can remain halted depends on their strength. (she can maintain the technique for around thirty seconds on grade ones. if she were up against an opponent of hanami's caliber, it'd be more like five seconds).
