Stupid Stupid, Stupid! Why hadn’t she checked her texts earlier?
Kou had already been halfway to school when she noticed the unread message icon flashing on her phones screen. Apparently Makoto senpai was sick, and had left her in charge of getting Haruka from his house. It was a good thing she had woken up early that morning, in the very least they’d still probably make it on time to school even if they didn’t run back, which was a relief for her. Despite her obsession with muscles, the red head had barely any to speak of for herself. It was only a two minute jog from where she was to the upperclassmans house yet she was wheezing for breath by the time she made it to his door.
After taking a second or two to compose herself she went inside. Just as Makoto senpai had told her, it was left open. “I’m coming in,” she called, scanning the premises for the missing boy. She had been over to his house once or twice, but the place was still only vaguely famliar to her.
Kou had only been opening and closing doors at random and calling his name when she accidentaly came upon him in the bath tub. Blood rushed to her cheeks, and she was quick to slam the door shut. “Sorry!” she exclaimed. “I- umm. Makoto senpai was sick, so I umm…he sent me to get you,” was her stuttered explanation as she pressed her back to the door. She had overheard the boys talking about how he usually bathed in his swimsuit, but ‘usually’ implied that there were times when he didn’t and she hadn’t been too keen to check for one in the split second she had saw him.
