💔 Is there a fic of yours that broke your heart?

Oh yeah. That would be Home. I honestly don’t know where it came from. I was just taking a nap one afternoon trying to recover from a migraine and woke up suddenly and just needed to write it. It must have come from the deep recesses of my brain but it was a bit cathartic too. I cried a lot while writing it (which dilated my blood vessels and helped with the migraine symptoms lol) but it’s one of my favorite fics I've ever written.

FAB OH MY GOD I JUST HAD THIS IDEA what if in Soul Eater weapons can fuse, like the gems in Steven Universe? I was thinking about how Liz and Patty could become a double-barreled rifle and like Spirit and Nygus could become a katana or something, just as examples

But I have been sitting on this and thinking about this and I LOVE IT.

Liz and Patty as a double-barreled rifle would be incredible, and I could totally see Spirit and Soul becoming a SUPER SAIYAN SCYTHE it would be golden and shiny and bulging muscles, yes, canon

BUT this also gave me a really interesting idea that someone should totally feel free to run with if they want, but what if this was a world in which the weapons can fuse with each other and become even more powerful but only if they are compatible weapons

which would mean someone like Tsubaki, who can alter her weapon form to be compatible with so many others, might be in very, very high demand.  Her family might have to go into hiding or something because so many forces are vying for their progeny.  Something something something she’s on the run and needs to find people she can trust, people who are not just out to use her for her ability.

YES someone should do the thing~

Ahh interesting!  I actually think I just saw Proma discussing this idea with someone?  It might have been anon, I don’t remember now.  Maybe a week ago?

You could certainly throw them at me, but I also have to take an opportunity to advertise therealflurrin‘s really fantastic comic about a possible Crona rescue which can be found on her dA here because it’s a) beautifully drawn and b) super well thought out and c) hits on a lot of the themes of the manga I really enjoy!  Also d) flurrin is fantastic in general.
