One other thing, I was thinking about posting my fanfic stories to tumblr, yet I'm afraid that no one will read them. Do you have any advice that could help me get some readers?
Well if you’re looking for multiple pairings all written by one author (in one story? I don’t know if I fully understand), that might be difficult. There are some people who multiship, but not others, so you might need to ask around to find one person who a) is taking requests and b) is open to all the pairings you might want to see. Though if you’re considering writing on tumblr, I’d encourage you to consider writing the smut prompts yourself. It’s certainly the most efficient way to get exactly what you want. Do the thing, be the thing~
As for being worried about not getting readers, well, that’s definitely a fear that everyone who posts on any platform shares. It’s always nerve-wracking to put your stuff out there. The best thing to do to attract readers is to (especially on tumblr) tag it appropriately. Remember that only the first 5 tags count, so put the most salient ones first. People search series name, pairing name, or character name in pursuit of fic, so utilize those first. Also be sure to properly tag or warn for things, like smut or drug use or other common things, so people can make the best decision about reading the fic as they can. And then you kinda just gotta post and hope for the best.
