ayy guys what's up it's been a Hell of a Long Time since I last posted (I blame the IB, joining a new school and lack of self-motivation). anyway,,, I'm back! 😳🤠

today, I had my first (trial) flute lesson!!!! yes I'm starting flute and it is SO FUCKIN HARD OMG

my teacher is so nice (imagine a slightly cross-eyed, soft-spoken Japanese old lady) but also super hardcore because she made me, a total noob, blow for like half an hour and I almost passed out

Flutists how do y'all blow for so long omg my arms start hurting and I can only blow for like 5 seconds straight and I feel so giddy after like this bitch dizzy yeet

here are some highlights of the lesson:

[teaching me how to polish the flute] "you have to stroke it like this, the flute is s e n s i t i v e"

[I manage to blow a G] "wow your embouchure is so beautiful" "I-I play saxophone" "wow!!!" [she starts clapping]

[both of us just standing in silence breathing deeply for like five minutes]
