Hearth's Warming RP! With lovingfluttershy (LE GASP WHAT A SURPRISE! XD)
He sat there in his workshop, looking at the object in his hands, making sure it was perfect. He stared up at the two creatures he had placed on top of his head, between his horn and antler.
"What do you think, Ruckus?"
The platypus with a blue bow around his neck said nothing, and Discord blew air through his lips. "Figures. You're just a baby, you don't know what you're talking about!" he said, hands on his hips. Putting away his tools neatly in his box, he stared at the wall beside him, all of them with objects of the same type as the one on the table, hanging on the wall. So many of them, all of them handmade....He looked at his oldest one, also on the table, in a box, too fragile to hang on the wall anymore. He smiled at his old favorite toy, before putting it aside and snapping his fingers. The object he worked on disappeared, only for a neatly wrapped present--green paper with red zig-zags and a big white bow--to appear in its place.
He snapped his fingers again, and both the playpus babies--one with the blue bow, and the other pink--suddenly had sweaters on them. "Well then. Time to go meet your dear mother! Can't be late on the holidays, you know!"
He looked back up at them, their eyes blank without a sound.
"Still nothing, hmm? Ah, well. No matter! Just stay calm for a moment, my monotreme friends! I'm going to teleport us there!"
He grabbed the present. "Shh! Wait, Ruckus and girl-yet-to-be-named! Don't speak! Don't fear! The teleporting is nothing to be afraid of! Shhh!"
The monotremes said nothing and did not express any emotion, though they did glance at each other, maybe even somewhat confusedly.
"~Off to Flutters we go~!" He singsonged, present in his arm as he snapped his fingers. He appeared right outside her cottage. He knocked on the door.
