#fluttering bird looks so demon-coded...

i sketched a family tree of graywing's most immediate family! i'll probably finish coloring it digitally later. notes under the cut!

added a sire to quiet rain's kits! her mate was a tom named cliff stone, a very jovial and lively cat that contrasted her more soft personality ( at least in her earlier appearances ). he's a short-furred, brown and white tabby; it's where jagged peak and fluttering bird got their colors from.

he's the littermate and only brother of shaded moss, making rainswept flower and graywing & co. cousins! it makes clear sky killing her much more impactful since they probably grew up together.

in my au, i think i'll rename clear sky to cloudy sky. other than fitting his design more, it fits him more thematically, too. clear skies symbolize i clear head, and that guy never thought anything through. there is no clarity to be had. he was clouded ( heh ) with grief and anger and pride the entire arc. with my own idea of dotc being the mythos that the modern clans tell, it makes sense too. why would they call the cat who destroyed everything he touched with a name that means the opposite?
