@yhseojun
the smell of coffee overwhelms seungjun as he pulls open the door to achim roasts, it’s scent already seeming to awaken him from the slumber of his quiet thoughts on his trek over to the coffee shop. it was bustling inside with it’s usual amount of customers, a few sitting by the windows chatting away about life and whatnot, others scattered around with laptops and work, and the small line that had formed while seungjun took his time to arrive. nothing seemed to be new, but in all honesty seungjun scanning the open space had a little more meaning than someone would think.
he was used to seeing a certain male already nestled up in a booth or table with his laptop out and paperwork spread around neatly by this time, so it made him a little curious and a smidge downcast to see that he seemed to be absent. but it didn’t come to as a surprise to seungjun. just because he frequented the shop and noticed the male was there often, that didn’t necessarily mean he would always be there on a strict schedule.
seungjun couldn’t lie that he was interested in finding out who the male was though. they seemed close in age. possibly. at most seungjun definitely new the aura the boy emitted wasn’t ordinary. after all, growing up as a jung heir and working with all the prodigious individuals he’s done with seungjun could spot someone from a rich or exceptional background a mile away. but to seungjun, some things were just meant to be mysteries. he didn’t have a reason to be approaching the male anyway.
returning his attention back to the podcast he was listening to, seungjun decided to drop the thought of the absent male. the podcasts helped seungjun clear his mind… more so distract him during jogs from unwanted thoughts such as his mother and the family corporation. it was a sort of comfort if he were to be honest considering that one of the speakers he came across and found enjoyable to listen to was seojun of the renowned min family right from yangcheon.
of all the families in yangcheon, seungjun always thought the min family was one of the more pleasant families considering how all their children were raised and all the compliments surrounding the entire family. despite his respect for the family, and admiration for seojun, he had never actually met him personally. as nice as it would be, the two of them were in completely different industries and there wasn’t a need for involvement.
when the line began to shift, seungjun reached for his phone to pause the current speech on technology he had been listening to. as he popped his earphones out of his ears, easily slipping them into his pockets, his attention was quickly seized by the cashier calling the next order.
“order 46 for min seojun.”
