Summary: Sonar feels that he’s useless, so Fluxx helps him out :)

Sonar seemed… off today. Even someone as dense as Fluxx noticed, and it worried him. It wasn’t like the eccentric and chatty speakerman to just stop talking to anyone or become a recluse all of a sudden. The speaker barely even exited their quarters, let alone initiate any social interaction like usual. So, Fluxx decided to go see what was wrong. He had to.. he couldn’t risk Sonar of all people falling into a spiral of despair like he himself had not too long ago. It was too much of a risk. He walks his way to Sonar’s living quarters, having an air of urgency about him. He couldn’t risk Sonar hurting himself… or worse.

He gets there after a few minutes, knocking on Sonar’s door. The familiar voice of the eccentric speaker was muffled as he answered: “Come in!”. As permitted, Fluxx walked through the door to see his partner partly covered in blankets, looking tired as hell. “Well damn, you look like you’ve been through a lot-“ Fluxx comments sarcastically, earning a dry chuckle from the other as he closes the door. “Well technically I have- I just didn’t look it before.” He chirps back sarcastically, looking over at Fluxx. “I get it, y’know— need to get technical with me.” Fluxx scoffs, walking over and sitting on the bed. It creaks slightly under his weight, but he ignores it. “Now.. are you okay? You’ve changed the past couple of days. You’re not as energetic as you used to be.” He asks bluntly, bits of worry tracing throughout his usually monotonous voice. “I’m— I’m.. I’m not sure. I’ve just been feeling like I’m- like I’m useless. Like I’m not worth anything..” Sonar responded reluctantly, knowing what was about to come. “Like you’re not worth anything?? That you’re useless?? Come on! You’re fucking awesome- for one, you single-handedly took down a horde of Skibidis when no one else was able, then you took a bullet to the stomach like it was nothing! You didn’t even flinch! Look. You may not realize it, but you’re special. To me, to (mostly) everyone else. You’re a gem to your faction, Sonar. A gem to all the Alliance.” Fluxx responded, his shocked tone a little harsh but still caring. “Y-Yeah, I guess I am…” Sonar sniffles, adjusting himself slightly on the bed. After another paused silence, he goes: “Can I have a hug..?” Fluxx, hearing this, immediately responds. “Yes my love, you can.” Sonar leans closer, wrapping his arms around Fluxx. Fluxx returns the embrace, letting out a trill of comfort as he relaxes into the hug. Then.. Sonar felt something… something lightly digging into his sides. “F-Fluxx!” “What?” “S-Stop that!!” He chirps with embarrassment, trying to push away as his lover’s fingers continued to dig into his sides. “Why? You wanted a hug.. plus, I’m just making you feel better!” Fluxx replied snarkily, manifesting a >:) emoticon on his screen as he suddenly pins the other onto the bed, now full-on scribbling his digits against the other’s ribs. Sonar jolts, sputtering into a fit of wheezy laughter. “NOHOHOHO!!—FLUHAAHAHAXX!!” “Awe, how cute~” the TV-Headed unit replies, chuckling a bit to himself as he continues tickling Sonar’s sides with vigor. “AHAHAHAHAHA! STOHOHOHAHAP IHIT!!” Sonar shrieks, bucking and thrashing about as Fluxx’s tickling only got worse. “But why should I~? You’re so cute like this..” Fluxx teases, suddenly shooting his hands up to the other’s underarms. “AAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA- PFF- NOHOHOT THEHEHERE!!” The speaker screamed, clamping his arms down to his sides as he feels Fluxx’s digits digging into one of his worst, if not most sensitive spots- “Not there? Hm, what about.. here?” Fluxx then went for Sonar’s hips, lightly rubbing his thumbs into his hip bones. Sonar was bucking even more now, all thoughts of pleading thrown out the window as he laughed and shrieked helplessly. But Fluxx eventually stops, pulling away from his giggly lover, patting Sonar on the head. “Y-You’re a dick…” Sonar huffs, slightly pouty. “Oh hush, you enjoyed it~” Fluxx teased as he stood up, leaving the room and allowing Sonar to recoup. As expected, that little tickle attack did help.. a lot.

— He is mixed. Also has vitiligo but I didn’t put that into his design mainly because it was so difficult to draw. But I’m getting the hang of it so maybe I’ll incorporate it into him a little.

— Avid coffee drinker when he was human. Accidentally forgot he wasn’t anymore and tried to drink coffee (somehow?) and burnt his speaker, which in turn caused it to become a little bit more sensitive to touch than it usually would.

— Usually very laid back, cheerful and optimistic, but has a temper of a thousand suns when riled up. Nearly killed a rookie once after they threatened to do something to Fluxx.

— Adding onto that, he is VERY, VERY protective of Fluxx. He knows he can handle himself most of the time, but is right there beside him when Fluxx gets hurt or is in a dangerous situation and needs to have his part taken over by a certain someone.

— Loves baking. Still does it even though he can’t eat, mostly does it for Vitali or sometimes Silver or Monica, even tries to change up he recipes for Silvermoon once in a while.

— When he curses, it’s just static. Literally just static. He doesn’t really like this that much since when he’s getting a little.. ‘heated’ with Fluxx, he accidentally lets a curse slip out and then comes the blaring of static.
