Hmmm... well I haven’t shared it publicly, does that count? I was thinking that some of Baron’s traits come from his time with the Baroness and the cafe in Paris they lived in for awhile. The tea and tea parties and such, all from the cafe. Just traits he absorbed while he spent time there. And dancing? I think he learned that there too and him and Baroness would dance to the music after watching people.
♤ Has your muse developed to be different from their canon selves through roleplay?
Well I really haven’t had Baron for long. Like, 2-3 days? One thing I did develop a bit after starting him and roleplaying with him was that he’s not very attuned to emotions. He can understand simple ones - happiness, anger, sadness, etc. But love, jealousy, betrayal, he hasn’t exactly been raised in a social environment that he’s participated in directly. He watched at the cafe, he watched in Nishi’s shop, he knows Toto and Muta, he’s shown to be pretty show offy and a gentleman. But he has also been a statue for most of his life and he lost Baroness for a long time. I imagine he was very lonely for quite awhile. So it’s my HC that he doesn’t understand feelings very well.
You can even see this in TCR tbh. All throughout his dance with Haru he’s very stoic and when Haru jumps on him after they dance he has this :| look and when he’s carrying her up the stairs and she blushes he’s like ‘huh?’ So yeah, Baron hasn’t completely grasped the emotions that come with his soul quite yet.
