does it smell in here, or is that just - okay, no, he’s not ending that with “just him,” because it definitely isn’t. seriously, though, there’s a smell in the elevator that he doesn’t remember being there last time, and he really hopes it won’t stick to him or the lift.
you know, he’s also tempted to get out and take the stairs, because it seems like the elevator’s going to take a stop at - and considering the amount of floors left, that’s not bad, it’s just time-consuming. he finally takes a look around in what.... should be a pretty empty elevator, just to make sure, but..
...you know the drill. there’s someone there - even if he can’t really tell who or what they are, really - and from deduction it’s said person or an unknown figure from before that caused this.
he’ll go for the needless procedure, he guesses. “ Hey, uh.. did you see anyone press all the buttons on the lift on the way... down? ” then again, what logical person stays in the lift just to endure watching the doors open more than three times? (unless they were on one of the highest floors, because then he’s obliged to agree with them and would’ve suffered the same fate.)
