3 years ago I got a call that shattered my heart into a million pieces and rendered me a hysterical mess. It was so unbelievable hearing those words, that you were gone, that you left us without warning. For 20 years you were by my side, sharing my life with me, supporting me, and making lasting memories with me. I was honored to call you my friend, sister, confidant, ying to my yang, mi Loca. It is still so hard to believe that you are not here. I know you are in a better place, and you are free from all the pain, the suffering, the craziness of this world, but Lord knows I wished for more time with you. I wish we were able to fulfill the promises we made to grow old and gray and chase each other in our motor scooter. To be crazy Lil old ladies talking shit and drinking our coffee. I wish for more time with you, because 20 years is not enough when we were supposed to have a lifetime of plans and memories. We made a ton of them in 20 years, but I needed 20 more. 💔💔😭😭. What I wouldn’t give to go back to this day 4 years ago. Trey was in LA for a day and we met at his fav beach Venice and spent the day hanging out in the beach catching up. Those times were so special since he traveled abroad so much we usually connected by text or phone when he came to a place that had service. I wake up at 5:30 AM for work Monday through Friday and never hear birds chirping. We couldn't sleep last night but heard birds chirping from our front yard trees since 2 AM and escalated past 6:00 AM.
