Charizard and other Pokemon show that being a dragon and being a Dragon-type are not one and the same. This means that, if done correctly, we can have dragons that are not Dragon-type and vice versa. This line was originally based on the idea of a dragon getting stuck in its egg, a la Togepi, therefore locking it out of its draconic potential. Admittedly, though, the design’s coloration and anatomy lends more towards a dinosaurian influence, but what’re you going to do?

Charmander uses the following additional sprites: Exeggcute, Togepi, Flygon, Egg

Charmeleon uses the following addtional sprites: Flygon, Egg

Charizard uses the following addtional sprites: Chansey, Flygon, Togepi, Seaking, Goldeen

That moment you clean your cast iron skillet with fire- outside the bathroom window -and you hear your neighbor say: ‘Flying fire at the back of the house... Man, I knew that these new pills could make you see some trippy shit. But are you seeing this too? Flying fire!!’  I’m half tempted to do it again.
