Guess who took pedigree photos of the #FlyingDutchpups today? 🙋 Yeahhhh!!! I've been having a blah few days so it was nice to wake up feeling like I could accomplish something today. Anyways, I bought this ridiculous and totally unnecessary contraption last week. Do I need it? No. Do I want it? Yes. With the pandemic we have put a stop to all things excessive, but I had to have this (and it wasn't very expensive). When I got into hamsters years ago I remember seeing photos of this "Dazzling Pets Carriage"... Thing. It's meant to be like a ball, but it goes only forward and backwards. Definitely some improvements on the ball design as a whole (since it's like a pizza, the ventilation is on the side so no trapped paws, etc.) but it is totally and wildly inappropriate for any animal at all. But I needed it. 😂 It's been discontinued for years and I never thought I would find one. However, I snapped this one up from a local shop last week. Not only is it purple (my favourite colour) but it was the last one they had. So, here is #Millie showing it off. In my head it would be amazing for photoshoots. In reality... Less so lol but I'll find a way to make it work. Will I ever use it for its intended purpose? Absolutely not. But it will be cute in cages or in photoshoots. And best of all me buying it does mean people cannot purchase it to use for their hamsters as a ball/car. Free roaming or playpens > balls everytime. While I'm personally rather ambivalent about them there is a reason the community in general shuns balls. They have a huge margin for human error and have many risks associated with them. Using a playpen is a much better plan! Like I said, this purchase is excessive, but I love it. 😂 AND it has the most ridiculous photo of a hamster on the box I had to cut off and keep. I'll post it in my stories because omg it's so... Yeah 😂 https://www.instagram.com/p/CLHqT2wAszl/?igshid=oixmeleas3mn
