Point Me // Major Quest - Leo&Wes

Wes knew that in order to get out of the game, he had to beat it.  Though he was never one for side quests, he decided to take this one anyway.  He figured the more XP he gained, the stronger he would become, making it only that much easier to fight in the boss battles... assuming he made it there.  For simply accepting the quest, he got a map of the First Floor’s forest, which was useful in itself.  However, in order to complete this task, it appeared as if he needed another player.  

Working with someone else wasn’t an issue, as on a daily basis put his life in the hands of his co-workers, but he wasn’t sure who to choose.  He’d barely interacted with anyone since he arrived, and hadn’t accepted or sent out any friend requests so he was pretty much alone.  The best thing he could think of doing was explaining the benefits to a stranger and hoping they would agree to join him.  The next question was though, who to ask.

There were many people in the part of the map where he was.  His eyes rested on a young man who was just about as tall as he was. Well, at least I won’t have to crane my neck while talking to him. Wes thought, it was a good enough reason in his opinion.  Besides, the kid stood with confidence, unlike most of the people around.  It gave him some hope.  He seemed to be alone anyway.

“Excuse me,” Wes came jogging up behind the dark haired kid. “Sorry, my name is Wes.  I’m not sure if you’re busy or what-not, but I’m trying to complete a quest and I was wondering if you could help me?  I believe it gives us XP or something, which would be useful in terms of battles and things.  I need someone to assist me in finding a lost kid.”

What do they do when they need comfort? Do they seek out a person, a food, an activity, etc?

“I just typically go to sleep.  I don’t like dealing with negative emotions in the moment so I try and calm down and sleep so I can wake up with a fresh mind.  However, before that I will normally treat myself to Chinese food.  Not only is it amazing but it’s take out and for whatever reason it makes me tired so it’s win-win in a bad situation.

If the ‘needing comfort’ is for an overall mood or if I’m dealing with something that’ll take more than an afternoon, I will go to church.  Other than that I might get a morning run regimen set in place, since working out typically helps my mood a lot.”

Who did they look up to the most as a child? Who do they look up to as an adult?

“As a child, I always looked up to my grandfather.  He was the type of guy who never gave up and attempted things everyone told him he couldn’t do.  Not many people liked him as he wasn’t the nicest guy in his old age, but his determination was to be admired.  

Now, I look up to my younger sister. It sounds odd given that I’m the older one and she should be looking up to me, but she’s grown up to be such a good person and she always seems to make the right choices.”

How well do they take criticism? How do they react to others noticing their flaws?

Bridget doesn’t take criticism that well at all. Unless it is in a constructive manner, she takes it to heart. In the past she used to do her best to change what was criticized about her but now she tries to act like it doesn’t bother her. But let’s face it, anyone who receives negative criticism is going to be bothered by such things. Bridget is just very sensitive to these things and will likely obsess over the critic for days on end.
