☼ Cedric, please!
Man, I have a lot of childhood headcanons for Cedric, so I'll share a couple. Let's see, since his dad was the royal sorcerer, he got to hang out around the castle a lot, but didn't actually live there.
Whenever Prince Roland would get bummed out 'cause his dad was more interested in doing royal duties than hanging out with his son, Cedric would try to cheer him up with a trick or two, but they usually failed. And Baileywick would have to clean up the resulting mess, so there's been bad blood between them ever since.
