(idk if someone already talked about this w/ you but) i had such a problem w/ that scene in the room where malia was saying they should leave w/o lydia and s c o t t was the one who said "we're not leaving w/o her" all angry and indignant and yes it's cute that stiles is teaching malia how to be human and they're a cute relationship but he didn't even seem to be upset w/ malia for suggesting they leave who was once the most important person in his life behind he just found her kinda cute and ???

I agree with you. It did seem to me like Scott and Kira were more focused on finding Lydia than Stiles was. And I was surprised at how calm Stiles was with Malia about the whole thing. But then again, Lydia was taken who knows how long ago, Stiles probably had time to recover. I'm positive that when they took Lydia from that room Stiles was kicking and screaming.

possibly with stiles entering his first real relationship with malia, we'll get to see lydia slowly realize she's jealous? i feel like lydia being jealous would be a really big thing--intense denial followed by increasingly snarky comments

Hmmm I don't think we'll see full out jealousy at the beginning of the season, because I think Lydia cares about Stiles a lot and wants him to be happy. Plus she's probably still in mourning and doesn't really care about that stuff as much as she usually would. As the season goes on though, I'm guessing that she's going to start noticing small things about Stiles and Malia that cause her to get jealous, but she probably won't vocalize it until like the last few episodes lol. That's just my predicament. Stydia is like the most slow burn relationship in tv history.
