"What time is it?"
"Think you can defeat me?"
"You want me to do what?"
The transparent form of a girl stood at the end of the hall. The lights flickered with every ragged breath that escaped her.
"H-hello? Can anyone... hear me?"
{The Haunted House: Open}
The floorboards creaked overhead, as if someone was walking through the halls. However, the family that lived in the house had long since retreated to a hotel, leaving their abode at the mercy of the ghost hunters that claimed to be able to help them.
Ever since they had remodeled the old farm house, strange things had begun happening. Doors would slam shut with no one around, the sound of laughter would come from a room that no longer existed, the lights would flicker on and off, and sometimes, a girl would scream. The family had spent many sleepless nights listening to the wailing of a young girl, but whenever they went to look for her, the sounds would stop, as if she were hiding from them.
Now the only living being in the house was the ghost hunter on the first floor. So who was making the racket upstairs...?
"You didn't hear me, scum. I said no."
"Why put away summer?! Its still nice and hot!"
