Laura walked through the place that the mutants had called Eden. the place was essentially a fortress for mutants to live peacefully, out in the middle of no where in Canada. No one bothered them there, every now and again they took turns on a supply run but that was about it. Mutants were very scarce now a days but there were a few others who popped up here and there and Laura and her friends would take them in to avoid the same fate that had happened to the countless others over time.
Today was Laura’s turn to get supplies, she had a list about as long as her arm of food, medicine and other things that they had needed. Laura climbed into the pick up truck and turned the radio on her favorite station heading down for town, many years had passed sense their escape from the scientists when she was a child and since the death of her Father. Laura parked her truck in the town center, it was a busy little town and it was perfect for getting their supplies, no one ever cared or noticed about new faces. Laura walked into the grocery store first ready for anything, but maybe not this.
Laura was stopped in her tracks at the sight before her, the familiar face she had thought was gone long ago.
“Logan?” she asked unable to wrap her head around what she was seeing. Could it be another clone? another X-24 that was trying to find them? Either way both ideas seemed completely impossible.
