Nina was still sore from where the arrow had hit her, some how the girl had lived but her mother had not been so lucky. Nina now sat up in her room running over the events on her head, what had happened to her papa? Nina slipped out of bed and crept carefully downstairs until she could see someone in the living room "Papa?" She asked softly still worried ( @erikxmagnus )

Nina just couldnât stop smiling, fate had been very kind and brought her father back to her. âCan I show you to my room?â Nina asked him excitedly she had her own room here and had decorated it with all kinds of pictures of him and her family plus the professor had let her keep some animals so she could practice with her powers.
âI want you to meet Jerry and Lilac.â not the most creative name for a mouse and a Bunny but she still liked them
Erik smiled and was looking at her âOf course.â he was glad to see that his daughter was so happy. He followed her. It seemed like she was doing well and learning how to use her powers. He knew that Charles would do his best to help his daughter. The mutant smiled as she showed him.
When they got to her room Nina hurried inside and over to two cages, her mouse Jerry was running on his wheel happily âThis is Jerry, he really likes to run on his wheel but he actually doesnât like cheese that much. If I direct him he can make it through a maze in nearly a minute.â Nina told him happily before she turned to the fluffy white and brown bunny
âAnd this is lilac. She doesnât like using the obstacle courses that we set up for her but she likes vegetables especially tomatoes. Sheâs a little shy but she might let you pat her if you want?â Nina told him before she looked at the bunny obviously hearing son thing that Erik wasnât âShe says so long as you donât touch her ears sheâll let you.â
Erik was looking at her, He smiled as he watched her with her animals. He knew that Charles would be teaching her the best he could. Â âI see.â He smiled, He thought it was cute that she had her pets. He hoped that she was happy staying there. âAre you happy here?â he asked. He would have to come and see her more often. He watched her with her animals. The mutant seemed calm at the moment.
Nina hesitated feeling a little bad, was it a bad thing she was happy here without him and her mother? she had missed them both dearly and there were some nights that she wished she were still home with them in Poland.
âyes, is that ok?â nina asked him almost worried heâd be upset with her though she didnât know why.
âI miss you and mama all the time though.â she told him she didnât want him to feel bad.

Logan comes back after he got the drinks. He sat down once he had it and he passed one to Adam. âThere.â he shrugged a bit.
Adam took the drink gratefully, since he had come to the states he hadnât been able to have a drink at all it was a nice thing to do now.

Yes they were but that didn't mean she was willing to die in a car with him before hand. Laura just glared at him hoping he would understand what she meant, if she tried to explain it then he would either ignore her and get them killed or yell at her and get them killed. Her king silences and dirty looks seemed to work much better.

âYouâll visit more now that you know Iâm here right?â Nina asked him hopefully she wanted him to be able to see how well she was doing especially now that their family was mostly back together she did wish her mother could be part of this but she knew her mom would be happy that the two of them found each other. âI missed you,â she added to him smiling
âOf course I will.â he said. Knowing she was here and alive he had to. He didnât want to not see her. He smiled a bit. âI missed you too.â He had never thought he would get to see her again and was still in shock that she was alive. He half expected to wake in his bed finding out it was a dream.

âThink if I showed them my ID theyâd still let me?â Adam asked him standing up and grabbing his coat. He hadnât had a decent beer in ages, he used to go out with his friends before his friends all got wise enough that when Adam was around creepy things happened and Adam didnât like drinking around his dad unless it was wine or something. If they didnât let him then at least he could play designated driver. Who knew maybe he could get some writing in.
Logan was looking at him âI doubt it.â he said, The mutant was looking at him. âI will buy some and bring it back here.â He doubted the boy would get away with it.  LOgan didnât want to get in trouble so it was easier he brought some and brought it back to where they were.

Laura was quiet for a bit longer but she could tell he wasnât going to let it drop either. âDont talk much,â she told him in her comics he was usually the one that fidnt like talking sheâd thought heâd appreciate that she didnât like to talk much, less trouble for him.
âYeah, I got that.â Logan says before sighing heavily. He focuses on the road again. He decides to keep his concentration there since he was starting to feel weak like earlier. About a half hour of silence goes by before Logan starts to doze off at the wheel.
Laura grabbed the wheel pulling them back onto their side of the road âCareful,â she tells him nudging him to wake him once again perhaps it would be a good idea to pull off somewhere and give him a rest? she could keep going but he was obviously struggling.

"I touch an animal and gain their DNA and some of their enhanced abilities like if I touch a cat I'll be covered in cut but I'll be super quiet with razor sharp claws, if I touch a bird I'll get wings, stuff like that." Conor explained to her
Nina looked where he directed and smiled finding the box she pulled it out and set it on the counter looking at the variety of shapes curiously
âwhat shapes should we use?â Nina asked him curiously as she started pulling out shapes she did smile when she found one that looked like a bunny she moved the box closer so he could see inside as well âYou should pick one because youâre helping.â

âJust how?â she couldnât think of anything else to say to him if it were actually even him but he knew her real name, if he were a clone wouldnât they have just called her by her experiment number? Laura was lost for words.
Usually sheâd be ok with that but this was a rare occasion that she wasnât.
âHow are you here? you-youâreâ she wanted to say dead but in the middle of a public place announcing âi buried you in the woodsâ probably wasnât a smart thing to say.
