Alphonse would be the kind of guy who’d dream of staying at home to care for 12 littleuns and give them cutesy nicknames like teacup and pattycake and never, ever let them anywhere near the alchemy books that might give them Highly Sinful Ideas like human transmutation and also let them play with daddy’s old armor in the yard

I love the little touches Al puts in his work. Ed usually just chucks some dirt around, saving the complex stuff for his arm, but when Al does alchemy he does it in a very particular way. 

There’s literally no reason to have that little hook there, but he did it bc Bird Cage and I support him.
