For: @fmdjoohyung Plot: Doing an instagram live in an arcade
It was late in the evening, in fact, it was nearly 3 hours before closing, which was the perfect timing for Taekyeong. It meant that most people were preparing to leave, and by the time fans were aware of where he and his friend were live streaming from, the arcade would be closed and they could make their clean get-away. It was a fool-proof plan in Taekyeong’s eyes, though perhaps not in the eyes of his friend, Joohyung from Charmed.
“Have you been here before?” Taekyeong asked as he enthusiastically bounded his way up the stairwell where the sound of pings, bangs and shouts of winners and losers were becoming louder and louder.
“I came here once with Impulse but I thought it might be fun to do an Instagram live here.” He adjusted his facemask and ballcap over his head as he approached the door. He opened and made for the front desk. He had the foresight to have reserved his tickets ahead of time. Two hours of unlimited fun, popcorn and drinks. He handed his friend the pass and nudged him excitedly while bouncing on the balls of his toes. His oversized black sweater flopped with the motion as he took the lead.
“This isn’t like, your typical arcade either. This is a sports arcade!” he gestured to the large area map that consumed the entire wall. “Batting zone, Soccer... what do’ya wanna do?” He asked. "Make a decision while I set up our live." He reached up under his shirt and down into his back pocket where he kept the selfie-stick. With his other hand he brought out his cellphone and flipped through until he got to his Instagram account and struggled to put the cellphone into the docking mechanism. "Do y'think this has bluetooth on it or am I gonna have to poke at my screen like a complete newb?"
