Dancing has never been an area that Sunghee excelled at, neither has it even been a priority for them. Auditioning into Dimensions, Sunghee had only been thinking about rapping, about making music, about making a living out of music — not about the fact that it would be expected of them to master idol skills just like any other idol. When they started training, Sunghee hadn’t had the best time with the dance trainers either, so it had taken them years to properly get into it. And by the time Unity debuted, they thought they were competent. Enough to follow Unity’s fairly complicated choreography with ease, but definitely not coming close to the dance line. Yet, for years now, Dimensions has been pushing them to center more often, down to giving Sunghee dance breaks. It’s why they had decided to start working out more this year, so they could have enough stamina to keep up, but with 90s love somehow all that effort seems to not be enough.
They don’t collapse in the middle of practice, but it’s almost. Sunghee forces themself to try to breathe, slowing down and counting their inhales and exhales. They tug on their necklace, bringing the chewing toy into their mouth so they can focus on that as they gather themselves once more. But still, they have to kneel down, forehead leaning forward to rest against the nearest surface — which happens to be the side of Samsoo’s thigh. “Hyung,” Sunghee whines, voice muffled around the toy. “Are we almost over?”

On May 12, the members will attend The Show for their first special promotional stage. The four members will all go to the salon together early in the day before arriving at the SBS studio. They will be granted a waiting room of their own up until they pre-record their stage a few hours before broadcast time. They will not stay around for the live broadcast of the show (unless they have other schedule reasons to do so).
The members will repeat this schedule for all music shows on the 13-18 as well.
During their promotions, each idol will also be guided to take a number of selfies that will be chosen from by staff as photo cards for the physical mini-album for the COLLA3ORATE project.
During their promotion period, the four idols will be informed that they have one more song to record — a special bonus track that will only be available on the physical version of the mini-album all of the singles will be released on. All that is required of them is to record their assigned parts, as there will be no promotions or other activities for these “secret” b-side tracks. On May 21, the members will attend MCountdown for their first special promotional stage. The members will all go to the salon together early in the day before arriving at the Mnet/CJ E&M studio. They will be granted a waiting room of their own up until they pre-record their stage a few hours before broadcast time. Once there, they will begin to learn the choreography for the song they recorded last month. They will learn from one of Dimensions Entertainment’s dance instructors and one of the choreographers (@fmdjoohwan) will be present for roughly a half an hour to give pointers on the parts of the dance they helped with. The five idols will meet a few times throughout the month to practice together under the same circumstances of being chauffeured to the Dimensions Entertainment building together, but are expected to also practice on their personal time.
On the same day, they will be introduced to a woman named Jo Jiwon who will serve as their project group manager for this month and the next as they approach promotions. She will be with them for all schedules from this point onward unless specified otherwise.
On May 16, the project group members will be escorted to a shop in Gangnam where they will undergo fittings for the outfits they will wear in the music video and during stage performances of the song.
On May 21, the members will arrive at an indoor set to film the music video for the song.

As the song will be released with Gold Star Media’s resources, most of the preparations for the song will occur at the building. This is their first time working together and the recording session will be filmed, so before they go into the studio, they will get some time to get introduced to each other. Following this short time to mingle, they will be introduced to one of the lyricists, composers, and producers of the song (@fmdjoosung) who will take some time to explain the overall concept of the song. He will then be joined by another producer and a recording engineer to help guide the recording process. The members will then go into the recording booth in the following order: main or lead vocal (chaewon), vocal (naeun), vocal (chaekyung), vocal (jinsol), vocal (rachel), and rapper (yena). All vocalists will record all vocal parts, but the producers present will focus in on parts for each idol that they determine matches their voice well to record more takes of (these parts will reflect the line distribution). in the scale of bad days, this one wasn’t the worst but it sure was above average. the exhaustion had finally caught up to them, as sunghee knew it was bound to, and there was a big part of them that knew they needed a break. it wasn’t likely they would have one anytime soon but the next day was mostly a free one, besides the inkigayo performance, and sunghee was planning on spending every single minute they could locked in their room, under the covers. there was a deep need for them to be alone, free from all the stimuli that was starting to be suffocating. today was not an option for them, however, as the job as mc of this music show made it impossible for them to run away from their responsibilities completely. they were still grateful when the rehearsal was over and they still had another hour before the show would actually start, the perfect hour for them to escape to unity’s dressing room and curl up in a corner.
upon entering the room, they didn’t find a single spot that was completely empty but considering their options they knew exactly who they’d prefer to sit next to. it was a no brainer for sunghee to move to the couch where samsoo sat and curl up on the seat next to the older. “i’m tired,” they whispered softly, forehead resting on samsoo’s shoulder. “i’m really tired.”

it was probably a really interesting sight to see, to say the least. a tall, beautiful, muscular man (at least that’s what most people would say, duri would simply blush and say no) walking four dogs of varying sizes, with another dog strapped to his back. kangaroo never did well with long walks due to only having three legs, so duri just always ended up strapping the dog to his back. kangaroo had become quite fond of that, to say the least. the dogs were seemingly just happy to be there, happy to be walking along side one another and grabbing attention of those passing by them, probably feeling like they were celebrities or something - maybe some people did notice who they were from instagram posts, but kept it moving.
duri had been on his way to meet samsoo at the park, considering duri wanted to take the dogs out. he didn’t like to leave them inside for too long, as they only got to be taken for walks about once a week anyways, when him or maverick weren’t busy. otherwise, the dogs would really just chill in the backyard as their outside time. when he told the dogs that they were going to the park to meet someone, they seemed to be excited.
as he made his way to the meeting point, duri called out, “samsoo!” he said, walking along with the dogs, giggling softly as he beamed a bit more. he decided it would probably be better to call him samsoo, rather than soo, just so it didn’t bring any attention. “say hi, everyone,” he says, the dogs’ tails starting to wag a bit more. “have i introduced you to all the dogs before? i can’t remember,” he asked, as kangaroo moved a bit to look upon samsoo.

joohwan’s only been home for two days when he realizes he needs to be anywhere but. there are other options, he reckons, like going to the company and putting in some extra practice time now that everything been filmed and origin’s only set to have the comeback. he could go to his grandmother’s even. hwan doesn’t know if she’s home but if she isn’t, he doubts she’s going to be too upset about it. he wouldn’t say their relationship is good – it never will be, for as long as hwan reminds her of what she’s lost –, but it’s better than it used to be what with joohwan spending an entire month at her house trying to… heal from a situation he had no control over. there are options but only when he’s already started his car that he decides on where to go.
