I presented my senior research paper on Flooding of the Red River and its Impact on Urban Development in Moorhead Minnesota last night. I analyzed over 100 years of flood history to gain a sense of how attitudes about the river have changed overtime. As we are expecting a large flood this year, possibly setting a new record, I feel this research comes at a very important time in Moorhead's history.
