I lost the chance of giving him a slowpoke, specifically a galar one cause it has some really cool and creepy evolutions!! I feel like he needed a psychic type.
Most of them have a little explanation, but mostly, it is just vibes tbh. The few I know about the pokemons' personality, abilities, and aesthetics

I also love the HC that Leonard is like a gardener type of guy. He is friends with the plants and is a huge bug lover. Just look at him! Even though having to run through mud and all the bad outside activities he had to do at the camp I feel like he still likes nature anyway.
The whole story of this evolution feels like incredibly and sadly matching for Pyle!
When Paras evolves to Parasect, it means that the creature we see died and is now being controlled by the huge mushroom at its back that took control over the bug's dead body. (Not perfectly accurate description but it's basically that.)
