hiding from life’s responsibilities is one thing, heedlessly cementing himself into quandaries where a certain someone’s involved is another. it’s not that xan MEANT to…, he just so happened to concurrently round the corner and further embroil this predicament that he’s been in for the past few months now.it doesn’t HELP that said person is standing a mere few feet away, features never failing to insolently inundate his cognizance. and NO, he does not go taut when he’s caught ogling. in f a c t, it wouldn’t exactly be the first time— its just. just. jae. jae and his stupid smile. his STUPID laugh, his stupid face, and his even STUPIDER (we get it, xan) personality. in short, xan wishes his inclinations to observe would cease to exist at this moment, because. well. this.he’s come to a standstill at this point, laconic scoff eliciting as soon as jae speaks. like HELL he’d ever admit to his conspicuous doings. the fact that his mirth inexorably sets both the facet of xan’s countenance and heart aflame in spite of his own reaction is… another story. three steps back and xan’s feigning fortitude, a sole corner of roseate duplets uplifted. “in your dreams, hyung.” and with a brusque spin on his heel, xan’s hurriedly sauntering off, phizog embellished with an imminent hue of crimson.

when nina was little, she was just as ambitious if not more GREEDY for things that she wanted to do, wanted to be, and given the luxury that she was born into by her hardworking mother, nina almost had the world in her manicured delicate hands. she ALMOST got everything she wanted, but because nina had grown up emotionally distant from her mom, she had to learn to become a grown up faster than others. she learned loneliness and independence to chase after her mom. this included sketching outfit ideas just like her mom sketched for the next fashion line. nina thought that becoming a fashion designer like her mom would bring her closer to her. she also wanted to become a ballerina for a while when her mom signed her up for a dance troupe. granted she liked dancing but she liked her mom’s validation more. nina had a lot of dreams, but in the end, her dream was always a mom’s LOVE. in reality, the dream that brought her most happiness is the one that chased her mom away.

when seunghan was in middle school, he performed at a dance contest, one of his first performances on a real stage, in front of a large amount of people. this is where he gets his first love call to the world of the famous. a strange man approached him to hand him his card. on it had the words “worldwide media” a recruiting manager. this is the card that got seunghan into his audition, into his path of fame, friendship, and MISERY all the same. this card is something that seunghan holds to a lot of value, even though it became an object that caused him pain; he thinks of it as something that brought him both good and bad. to this day, the card remains laminated inside one of his treasured books.

Left, right, back—wait, fuck. Back, left, right—no, stop being a dumbass. Front, back, right… left? Noel groaned in the frustration, his loud exhale reverberating within the practice room and mixed itself with the song—Cherry Bomb—that was currently playing. Yeah, yeah, he knows what you’re thinking: “Oh, Noel! Don’t you know the dance already? You fuckin’ did it in the music video and on stage! Why are you fuckin’ up?” Man, please. Practice makes perfect, perfect makes practice, tomato is tom-ah-to; you know the deal.

As he squatted with a small huff, Noel wondered if his practice was really worth it. Granted, he made it this far with all the time and energy he had put into everything, you know? It was not as if he was doing it for himself either—there were the fans, his friends and family, hell, even the company—that expected a lot from him and even though it was overwhelming most of all the time, he was not about to let anyone down. Manoeuvring to lay down, he began to ponder if Jae felt the same way when he was rehearsing, and for that matter, if he still got overwhelmed when he had to memorize lines.

Of course, he did, you idiot.

With that being said, Noel rolled over to his backpack and pulled out his phone, scrolling through the contacts with ease until Jae’s number appeared on his screen.

Even though he struggles with insomina, Noel is a pretty deep sleeper whenever he can fall asleep; which requires his alarm to be set at the highest volume or for someone to shake him to wake up. He hates sleeping for the most part though because that’s when the mind loves to pull out negativity, causing him to feel a bit anxious the following morning.
