hi all, i was mulling over some stuff and was really bummed out that some characters didn’t get the storyline they deserved (in my opinion) and this idea for what could a trailer for a film about them just kinda... happened. the script is below, and i’d love feedback good or bad!
EXT. ILUM - MORNING
The wind is fierce and unyielding. The morning sun reflects off of the snow and ice blocking out the view ahead.
A FOOTSTEP CRUNCHES INTO THE SNOW.
Climbing onto level ground, they take a few shaking steps. Met halfway by another pair, smaller and barefoot.
FAE KAYRA (v.o)
Who are you? Why are you here?
sounds of a warzone fade in. The screen cuts to black, it’s the kind of memory that never really ends.
KAYRA’S eyes blink open, glazed over and unfocused, head tilted to the side with curiosity. Camera pans out to the young woman who’s dressed in old tattered Jedi robes.
FAE KAYRA (almost breathless)
Fascinating.
She turns in the snow and begins walking out of sight, stopping only to motion for the other person to follow her.
BOOTS CRUNCH IN THE SNOW
Camera pans further out and up, revealing the Jedi Temple of Ilum.
FAE KAYRA
I wonder what colour you shall wield…
Camera cuts from her to the face of FINN

Actually, the name’s Finn.
Camera cuts back, panning out as they walk into the Jedi temple.
and i know Ilum got blown up in TFA, but i just thought the visual of Finn standing before the temple was stunning and he deserves to have a crystal thats entirely his and not someone else's. idk what do yall think?
